It was such an honor to be joined in conversation after by @laura4lano & Danya Glabau to discuss speculative computational systems & cyborg bodies. It was a special thrill to include movement for the first time in my work w/choreography by MaryJohn Frank performed by @SayerMansfield.

Cryptic Lineages” (2025, @laurasplan, AI-generated video, laurasplan.com/projects/cryp…) explores emerging AI technologies that leverage organic systems and living bodies to perform machine learning processes. A series of speculative narratives and images interrogate the instrumentalization of bodies and offer poetic reflections on how notions of the "natural" and the "individual" are shaped by the computational.
