One of the most dangerous traps in life is spending YEARS trying to achieve a goal.
You spend years trying to get lean. Years trying to make money. Years trying to meet your dream partner.
You make progress. You fall back. You try again. You struggle. You chase.
And somewhere along the way, something strange happens.
You become addicted to WANTING the goal, not HAVING it.
Your identity becomes the person who’s trying to get lean. The person who’s trying to become successful. The person who’s still searching for love.
You’ve spent so long chasing that you don’t even know how to be the person who already has it.
And this is where you can become trapped.
Your mind keeps pulling you back into the familiar state of struggling, striving, and wanting.
So what’s the solution?
Stop wanting. Start having.
Drop the excessive importance you’ve placed on the goal.
Stop telling yourself life will finally be amazing WHEN you get there.
Recognize how you’re already winning. How you’re already living parts of your dream reality.
And start spending time mentally occupying the state of someone who already has what they want.
Not “I’m desperately trying to get lean.”
“I’m lean. It’s handled.”
Not “I need to make more money so I can finally relax.”
“Money is handled.”
Not “I need to find an amazing partner before my life is complete.”
“My life is already full. Love is handled.”
Visualize the end result. Feel that calm certainty. Then take action from that state.
Desire + action. Without desperation.
The goal isn’t to stop pursuing what you want.
It’s to stop identifying as the person who doesn’t have it.
You’ve spent enough time practicing wanting.
Now practice having.
If you're a supplement brand, one of the best emails you can send is just an ingredient breakdown
Good thing is most supplements have 20+ ingredients, so you can break down each one and you're already covering a ton of emails
Great example from Everyday Dose below
Usually a client doesn't leave because of one huge mistake, but because of a lot of small mistakes
Things like typos, forgetting to send emails, planning the campaign calendar too late, having old prices in an email, add up. It's death by a thousand cuts
Really important to be aware of those things
What I've learned on the agency journey: the more time you give people, the better the results usually are
That's why I recently became a fan of overhiring
Giving your designers, account managers, and copywriters breathing room to be more creative and have more time to actually check the accounts
I used to measure their performance against mine, which is insane. As the founder, you're always doing 10x the work and have 10x the work ethic because it's LITERALLY your company
But as long as your employees don't have equity in it, they won't bring that same drive to the table
So don't try to fill their day to the last minute with work. Set an amount of deliverables, and as long as it's done, I don't care what you do the rest of the day tbh
so many people still underestimate how little copy an ecom email needs to perform
you can literally have a five word headline and a shop now button and it'll still print
and funny enough, the less copy in an email, the better it usually performs, because nobody's reading a long email
just look at this example from obvi below. It's usually just a couple of words
actually think that focusing 70% of efforts on outreach and content is bad advice as an agency
one client with exceptional results and an amazing experience could open the doors to 20 more clients in his network
esp in an industry like ecom
nah bro wtf is going on
🇩🇪 Four tiny Microduck robots completely stole the show at NVIDIA’s GTC Berlin keynote.
Jensen Huang had them sitting, standing, and taking naps right on stage, proving the future of AI robotics is officially adorable.
Microduck is an open source robot meant for developers and students who want to teach machines new physical skills, tweak them and share the results with others.

Yeah. If you want to win at life, you're going to have to try. Hard.
Most refuse to try hard. They'll make fun of you for it. Shame you. All so they can justify how shit their lives are.
Push through. Your try-hard ways are why you'll someday look down on them and laugh.
sometimes i hire someone just because they're too good to pass up
don't even have a role for them yet but i'm already thinking "if i don't hire them, someone else will"
hiring fomo is real lol
logged into client's Klaviyo account and thought I had the last 30 days selected
turns out this was one day
levels to the game
not even bfcm yet lol
one thing i wish i understood earlier: you can literally just ask
you can dm someone you look up to on Twitter right now and ask for advice. you'd be surprised how many people will reply or even jump on a call to help you out
ever since i started doing this, my progress has skyrocketed
business, relationships, life in general. so much got better because i stopped overthinking and started asking
same goes for clients
if you realize you need a few extra days to hit a deadline, tell them early, explain why, and ask for the extra time
way better than going silent and hoping they don't notice lol
so many things become easier when you just have the conversation
