Vibecoded my Halloween setup this year. A bunch of interactive scenes were projected to a garage door. All the walk-bys were tracked by lidar and were driving the scene by moving. Stats are great. 508 people walked by > 128 engaged > 26 engaged enough to get to the scary part. Love the setup. 90$ off-shelf lidar opens enormous space for interactivity.
AI finally enabled game developers to stop doing game engines and focus on the games themselves. Selection happens way faster. Good ideas bubble up, bad ideas sinks. This is a game dev singularity.

Oh do you remember that Falcons NFL rebranding thread? Apparently if you post it in your work channel you would be reported to HR 😱
Have you tried publish a Claude connector? How long did it took for you? Is there a review tracker anywhere? Given Anthropic is AI company I would expect at least reviews being done automatically, why would it take so long? 🤔
Should I make it into a full-blown game with cities, forts, trading, upgrades and factions? #threejs

Lex Fridman interviews a PHP security researcher
Lex: My guest today discovered a critical vulnerability in PHP. What is a vulnerability.
Researcher: A weakness that allows an attacker to compromise a system.
Lex: But aren't we all vulnerable.
Researcher: Yes, but
Lex: Is love a vulnerability.
Researcher: We're talking about remote code execution.
Lex: Could an attacker remotely execute love.
Researcher: No.
Lex: Stalin executed millions.
Researcher: What does that have to do with
Lex: Do you think Stalin was happy.
Researcher: I have absolutely no idea.
Lex: Fascinating. We're 3 hours in. Let's talk about consciousness.
With new AIs arriving nonstop and doing better and better work at everything, we desperately need some innovation in economics for this new world, where work is becoming optional. It would be unfortunate if AI innovation moved faster than innovation in economics.
Never been easier to make your own game and put it out there for others to play. Really happy with how my toy pirate-ship brawler came out ⚓ @threejs #claudecode #ScreenshotSunday @AnthropicAI

"It means I could re-release the earlier Ultimas, but it also means I could sequel them."

🚨 TIBO, I'm really done with the hypes.
Before DevDay, your answer to every question, every issue, every complaint was: “DevDay. DevDay. DevDay.”
Then DevDay came.
All we got was:
→ Pro usage cut from 20x to 10x
→ A $500 Pro expensive tier
→ ChatGPT Dots
Meanwhile, you guys ignored the usage and other Codex issues people were screaming about - and they still aren’t solved.
And now you post:
“Future is bright.”
Then make that future bright for the users, not just OpenAI.
I don't think there's anything special going on behind the scenes at OAI. It's just a one-trick pony with resets and hype. They made a bet on a trick, but users have had enough. Meanwhile, they continue to kick a dead horse.
1. Move compute, sacrifice users experience.
2. Introduce more expensive ultrafast, and piss of users.
3. Give some compute back to users pretend it is an "innovation".
Marketing failure by marketing failure. Unbelievable.
Day 1/
We have optimized the default speed to be ~50% faster across GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol through the subscription across all our products and partners using Sign in With ChatGPT (including OpenCode, Pi, Amp, Devin, ...).
No changes needed on your end and this should be felt within the next two hours.
Something is falling apart inside #OpenAI or it is a complete marketing incompetence. Hyping to users an ability to burn their tokens faster while the same time cutting their account in halves. What could go wrong?
