I can see a few accounts now saying sacking Slot was the wrong choice.
This was me back in June. 👇
Iraola is NOT an upgrade on Slot. Slot was a much better coach.
Richard Hughes has hired his friend and done a runner.

Unpopular opinion but when have i given a toss?
Is Iraola really an upgrade on Slot?
Achievements/success suggests a flat NO.
I personally would have kept Slot if Iraola was the successor.

Edwards deserves to be recognised for the mess he made in the transfer market. Probably the biggest waste of transfer money in the history of the sport.

Nunez Diaz Elliot weren’t better players than Isak Ekitike Wirtz Barcola
Iraola has inherited a better team than Slot
Same midfield, better attack bar Salah
Better defense

10 goals conceded in three champions League games. This is on Iraola, this can't be a single player problem.
ffs can these blue checkmark accounts stop fishing for likes with these silly comparisons.
Klopp was a 2x bundesliga champion and CL finalist. I’d give him 10 years to win a trophy
Iraola was a mid table manager when he came in and got a million times stronger team than Klopp

Changed a manager who won titles at both clubs he's managed becoz he had 1 bad season, to hiring Iraola who hasnt won anything in his managerial career is 1 hell of a gamble. If you wanted to gamble like that you go and get Cesc.

Slot for another *elite* option was a fair shout - but that’s not what we got.
Iraola for Slot was pointless.
you simply know if someone is elite or not.
we knew Salah and Mane were elite from the 1st minute. knew Klopp would bring us trophies from the 1st game.
with Wirtz and current star players you simply do not see that. same with the new manager. this squad is simply not it
nobody said sacking Slot was wrong decision
but getting Iraola was clearly the wrong decision
Whenever we drop points, you see the same people come on here saying that it was the wrong decision to sack Slot.
It wasn’t. His position was completely untenable by the end. When Anfield boos and you’ve lost the dressing room, there’s simply no way you can stay on.
It’s a new project and there are going to be ups and downs. Keep the faith.

LFC fans We went 30 years without a league title because we let average managers who won nothing if significance have a lot longer then they should doing damage

People don't want Iraola sacked; they are simply pushing back on the obscene narratives they were forced to swallow last year, which got a Premier League-winning manager sacked.
Now, the same ones who pinned everything on one man are talking about an "Imbalanced squad," "Lack of options," and the need to rest players because, without a CF, we would be in big trouble (Remind me who played CF when Hugo tore his Achilles last season)?
All the talking points about why we should be happy fighting for the top 4 were ignored last season, so pardon me if people think you are disingenuous for using them as an excuse for the manager this season.

Bournemouth have won 4/4 of their European games after tonight's match
Was Iraola really special at Bournemouth?
Top reds are incapable of being objective and criticizing the club. If you asked them to give us top2 managers of all time they’d list Klopp and Iraola lmao
they also think if you don’t like Iraola, you are a Slot fan. neither were and are not good enough

To put Liverpool's defeat into context Fenerbache haven't won a Champions League match since 2008 and lost 6-0 to Aston Villa a couple of weeks ago.
Look at the build-up, the progression, the patterns. He isolated his wingers to perfection. They didn't have to run around like headless chickens. This was the closest thing to elite football we've seen since the 21/22 Liverpool side.
no, its fans who have seen Liverpool being shit pre Klopp and can see we are returning to that level slowly but surely
happy clappers who became fans after Klopp joined are happy to never win anything again because they only care about vibes
yeah bro losing to City and Arteta at Anfield with 0 shots on target is amazing. glass is full empty
