As startups grow there is extremely strong pull into what I call the death spiral of bullshit. More people -> more teams -> more buy-in required -> more meetings -> being persuasive rewarded more than building -> builders leave -> nothing gets done

Huge!. Now @Apple are you ready to acquire them?. Whoop and Watch in a single device would be amazing.
WHOOP has raised $200 million in a funding round led by SoftBank. Last October, the fitness tracking startup was valued at $1.2B. Now valued at $3.6 billion, WHOOP is the most valuable standalone wearables company 📈 Investors include Patrick Mahomes, Rory McIlroy.

Does the expected growth rate of social apps meant to keep increasing? I guess the depth of penetration from the previous generation already sets a higher bar. If that’s the case, what we consider exceptional (like clubhouse) could just be “normal” after finding PMF

Best thing of 2021 so far
A lawyer using Zoom had to let a judge know that he wasn’t a cat after inadvertently activating a face filter

In fact, most of the onboarding flows of crypto/stock trading apps are exactly the same as poker/gambling apps

This is actually quiete common. In some cases is fair in others...not that much. There’s a correlation between the historical spend on their network and the power of influence to make this happen.
Apple and Google removed all negative reviews of @RobinhoodApp from the app stores.

Funny to see $doge in trending topic. This coin had the biggest returns for me back in the early days. Probably will regret to not hodl now? :)

What a cheap acquisition channel. Constant visibility for the lifetime of the TV (5-10 years?) I've also seen those Netflix-optimized stickers on TVs which means a win-win for both parties
