“I would kill for you.” “I would die for you.” Yeah, well, I would heal for you. I’d unlearn my toxic patterns, face my wounds, and become a healthier person so my love doesn’t hurt you.

Why do some men become better husbands for their second wife after breaking their first wife? 💭👀

Why is a woman expected to adjust to her husband’s family, but rarely is a man expected to adjust to hers? 👀

Why is it easier to impress strangers than to keep the people who genuinely care about you?

Real talk, baby: sometimes a man shows you exactly who he is from the start, and you keep giving him chances like he’s getting a second season, a trilogy, and a whole damn reboot. 😭 if the first preview already disappointed you, stop buying tickets hoping the movie gets better. take your peace and leave the theater, sis. 💅

Watching someone move on so quickly after discarding you is a humbling kind of pain. seeing how easily they let you go, carry on with their life, and find happiness with someone new makes you question whether what you shared ever meant as much to them as it did to you. it’s hard to understand how someone can walk away knowing the hurt they caused and seemingly never stop to think about the pain they left behind. but sometimes, seeing how someone treats you is all the clarity you need to finally see them for who they are and start letting go.

Everyone loves “good energy” until it comes with accountability. then suddenly, you’re doing too much. 💀

My biggest boundary isn’t blocking people or explaining myself over and over. it’s choosing what i no longer want to be part of. i won’t keep arguing with someone who refuses to understand me, beg for the respect i deserve, or explain my pain more than once. having access to me doesn’t mean you get endless chances to disrupt my peace. sometimes, things only keep happening because i keep allowing myself to be part of them.

i’ve realized that one of the most important skills you can develop as an adult is learning how to recover from the things that hurt you. you’ll get disappointed, angry, and sad as fuck sometimes. life will knock you down, and you won’t always be okay right away. what matters is learning how to find your way back to yourself after the bad days.

People will tell you to learn how to manipulate others to get what you want. but jung said it best: “know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul, be just another human soul.” because knowing how to influence people means nothing if you lack the empathy to treat them like human beings. power without compassion will eventually destroy what it was meant to gain.

imagine hurting someone and then getting mad because their reaction to YOUR actions made you uncomfortable. you betrayed them, and now you expect them to make it easier for you? be so fucking serious.

if you like him, let him know. ask about his day, tell him about yours, double or triple text him, and send him memes that make you think of him. let his response, or lack of one, show you whether he’s worth your energy. and if he isn’t, you can walk away knowing you were genuine, made an effort, and never had to wonder what would’ve happened if you’d tried.

someone said, “when there was no shoulder to cry on, i had to make sure my legs were strong enough to stand on their own.” and that hit me so hard. nobody talks about how painful it is to cry in silence and still have to find the strength to keep going.

one of the saddest things about life is spending years just trying to survive a hard chapter, only to look back and realize you were living your life through it.

we don't talk enough about the moral injury that comes with betrayal. sometimes the hardest part isn't losing someone you loved, but trying to understand how a person you trusted could treat you in ways that go against everything you believe about love, loyalty, and basic human decency. it's not always about wanting them back. sometimes you're just trying to make sense of how someone you cared about could do something that should've never happened.

Being autistic means being taught that lying is wrong and kindness matters, taking those lessons to heart, and then spending the rest of your life being treated like an idiot because you don’t know when you’re supposed to lie.
