Can someone help me understand how shipping 100s PRs a day makes sense? Why do you need to ship so many PRs in the first place? I might just not be AI-pilled enough to understand the need for it yet, so I’m genuinely trying to understand it.

When I spoke out against the Gaza genocide, a bunch of midwit VCs ganged up on me both in public and tried to hurt me in private too. Many of those who stood by me were also VCs. Just the better ones. Both morally, and in return profile. The best way to avoid sociopaths is to have them self select out of your life by standing for your beliefs.
I was once pitching in a board room at a top 3 VC firm for a $15M Series A. 12 people in the meeting. One of the GPs fully fell asleep. Out cold for 30+ minutes. Nobody acknowledged it. Everyone just kept going. I kept presenting my Series A slides to an unconscious man in a Herman Miller chair and somehow that was considered normal. That's venture capital. You might fly across the country to perform for people who may or may not be conscious. It's a dance. And sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow and sometimes your partner is unconscious. If you're raising right now, just know: every founder has a story like this. The process is weird. The power dynamic is weird. You're not crazy for thinking it's weird. No one talks about it because they want to continue raising. But I'm happy to stick my neck out there. It is weird.

was flying to SF recently and i single-handedly saved our flight from getting canceled "hi everyone, we're so sorry, we can't fly today. the navigation system isn't working" as a 10x vibe coder, my ears perked up "unless anyone has any ideas, we're stuck here in antarctica (not important to the story that i was there)" i approached the desk and explained i could easily build a navigation system with zero errors "yeah, right. it would take months to do that." i showed them my claude code token usage ($32 so far this month, mostly setting up the ideal workflows) and they gasped as i flawlessly asked claude to build a nav system "well, this might work...but surely you can't ship it with dark mode?" i simply asked claude code to add dark mode with zero errors everyone applauded and they actually let me fly the plane with my vibe coded flight controller oh, and that antarctica trip? 40 million penguins added to our TAM. first-mover advantage.
