48h left to cast your vote - and good fun to learn about some great research funded by @TheBHF !!
Time to know some @TheBHF funded research! Vote for your favourite project: bhf.org.uk/how-you-can-help/…. If doubts to cast your vote, "Improving the identification of faulty valves" is my suggestion 😉

I agree it depends on what you’re optimising for. For more fast women competing in a race, it seems a shorter XC distance than the men’s is better (similar time for the fastest men and women to finish, say county and national champs).
For more participants, try equal race distances for men and women (start everyone together to balance officiating time, say club level champs). Great to have a variety of XC distances and courses to get everyone (I assume variability from both men and women on this) involved!
Sooo sad that this is the last PIC summer/winter school. Incredible work achieved by the PIC fellows. Featuring great collaborations between universities and industry, using synergies across physical laws, cardiac physiology and artificial intelligence to influence medicine! 👏🏼👏🏼
Our PIC Winter School is a success, with more than 125 participants, great talks and insightful discussions.
Stay tuned for the recorded talks, that will be available in our channel: youtube.com/channel/UCryObRt…
