Thirty-seven years after the fall of communism in Hungary, the country is bracing for the identities of 50,000 to 60,000 informants who worked with the former regime to be made public. Hungarians will have now have access to their names and personal data - as recorded in secret police files - via a new online catalogue. 🎧 How is Hungary changing after 16 years under former president Viktor Orban? bbc.in/3UwMeub

🇵🇱 Never before has Poland had such a competent and charismatic foreign minister Radosław Sikorski demonstrates a remarkably clear-eyed understanding of the situation. A rarity these days. This time, Poland's foreign minister addressed the country's president, Karol Nawrocki. Here's what he said: “I know that the president is Ukraine-skeptical, to put it as gently as possible. But it is in Poland's vital interest that an independent Ukraine survives. The president's role is to use his relationship with Donald Trump to persuade him to put pressure on the aggressor, not on the victim of aggression.” Video: TVP Info

President Isaac Herzog sent a warning letter last month to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other top officials, warning of a “highly explosive and dangerous reality” in the West Bank, and lamenting the ongoing “moral disgrace” of settler violence. “A severe flare-up on the ground is liable to carry severe and far-reaching consequences, both for Israel’s security and its functioning as a sovereign state, and for Israel’s international standing, Diaspora Jewry, the Israeli economy, and more,” warned Herzog, adding that there is a “moral disgrace and the stain on us” when innocent Palestinians are harmed. Herzog wrote the letter after a September 30 visit to the Judea and Samaria Division headquarters. Read more on The Times of Israel.

Watching Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund, speak from a White House podium bearing the U.S. presidential seal while quoting Vladimir Putin is an image I will never forget. Dmitriev praised Maria Lvova-Belova as a great humanitarian. She is wanted by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes involving the unlawful deportation and transfer of Ukrainian children. He then presented Melania Trump with a painting reportedly made by a girl who, according to him, “chose to remain in Russia.” It read: “I love Melania.” Melania Trump went on to praise Newsmax for its integrity in covering the operation in Russian-occupied Oleshky, where the outlet’s journalists traveled under Russian military guidance. And to complete the scene, Davyd Arakhamia, head of Zelenskyy’s Servant of the People parliamentary faction, joined from the Ukrainian side to praise Melania Trump. All of this at the White House. Russia’s war against Ukraine continues.

Instead of providing Ukraine with air defense systems and imposing sanctions on Russia as it continues to murder Ukrainian civilians every single day, the Trump regime lets Putin’s envoy spread Russian propaganda inside the White House. Utterly disgraceful.

When Putin seized Crimea, both Europe and America were quite openly making calls, holding meetings, and sending signals to the Ukrainians who were in power at the time that there should be no escalation – let's just keep things friendly and leave things as they are for now. And we lost Crimea. After that, we lost part of Donbas. But the shooting in the east continued. There was no peace. People think we were always helped. That is not true. Help started coming after the full-scale invasion, but that was after eight years of Russia occupying our territory. That is a long time to figure things out and understand that Putin has no intention of giving anything back to us. At one point, some Europeans asked me: “Why do you think that if you withdraw from Donbas, he will go further?” And I answered: “Because at the beginning of the war, he wasn't seizing Donbas. He came to the capital. He seized parts of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, Kherson itself, and Kharkiv region.” We have retaken a lot of territory, but he had seized different parts of our country. And now they want us to give them something because they are unable to seize it. We may have a smaller territory, less money, and fewer weapons, but we still have more dignity than many others. We will do everything we can to end this war, but it must end in a way that preserves our dignity. From an interview with ZDF. (2/3)

- Bill Clinton forced Ukraine to give up its nuclear weapons. - George W. Bush pushed for Ukrainian disarmament and opposed Ukraine's NATO membership. - Barrack Obama as a senator went to Ukraine to supervise the decommissioning of Ukrainian weapons stockpiles. - Barrack Obama refused to help Ukraine or meaningfully punish russia when it first invaded Ukraine in 2014. - Joe Biden slow walked support in 2022 and starved Ukraine of supplies when it was making significant advances. - And Donald Trump finally stabbed Ukraine in the back by cutting all support, cutting sanctions and making cowardly concessions to Putin and favoring him and russia's war effort with billions in financial deals. The United States is partially responsible for the suffering of the Ukrainian people. At this rate, what will the next one do? Straight up bomb Kyiv? America OWES Ukraine. Pictured Senator Obama supervising the decommissioning of Ukrainian artillery ammunition in the Eastern Ukraine - Eastern Ukraine today.

Caitlyn Jenner has now decided to review his longtime secret boyfriend and now want to end her relationship with him cause of him transitioning back to male. “I had been in a loving relationship with my longtime secret boyfriend ever since I transitioned to female. We shared love, peace, and harmony, living happily together like one family. He loved me deeply, and although I never wanted to reveal our relationship publicly, I eventually began to feel uncomfortable living as a woman. After a lot of reflection, I decided to begin the process of transitioning back to male. However, my boyfriend refused to support my decision. I eventually told him that I would rather end our relationship than continue living a life that no longer felt right for me. Looking back, I now regret my initial decision to transition to female, and I want to embrace my identity as a man again.”

🚨 🇺🇸 Tusk gives Trump some great advice. But will the US president listen? Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk urged the US president to seek compromises after the Republicans' defeat and not to rely on vetoes as his main way of governing. Trump had earlier threatened to become "Mr. Veto" if Democrats took control of Congress. "Here, with my Polish experience, I should say that veto is the last thing which can help to conduct a good policy," Tusk said. He regularly faces vetoes from Polish President Karol Nawrocki, who blocks his government's initiatives. "Democracy is amazing, really. I love democracy. It's a really beautiful thing," the Polish prime minister added.

BREAKING: SWEET REVENGE! The Navy Admiral who Pete Hegseth fired DEFEATS her MAGA opponent to win a House seat in South Carolina — cementing the blue tsunami with a poetic flourish! This is just too beautiful... Democrat Nancy Lacore, a 35-year Navy veteran who rose through the ranks from helicopter pilot to become Chief of Navy Reserve, was fired in August of 2025 amid Hegseth's purging of high-ranking women in the military. While no official reason was given, the deeply misogynistic Hegseth has not been coy about his caveman belief that only testosterone-injecting men should serve. Lacore has now defeated Republican Jenny Costa Honeycutt to seize a seat that was formerly held by MAGA lunatic Nancy Mace who launched a failed bid for the governor's mansion this year. Lacore has not been shy about criticizing Hegseth's disastrous mismanagement of the Defense Department, particularly his failed Iran War. "Pete Hegseth is the most unqualified Secretary of Defense that we have ever had, and he is doing significant damage to our military that it will really take decades to undo," she said, adding that he "needs to go." The most beautiful irony here? Congresswoman Lacore could soon be voting with the rest of the Democratic majority in the House to impeach Pete Hegseth. We have subpoena power starting in January, so we'll be able to uncover all of the gross negligence and rampant criminality that he's overseen. Ain't karma grand? Please ❤️ and share if you support impeaching Pete Hegseth!

Today is an important day in Hungary’s political transformation. At 9.30 am, on the 70th anniversary of the crushing of the 1956 Revolution, the names of 60,000 former informers recruited by the communist regime will be made public on the nyitottaktak.hu website.
Fulfilling one of TISZA’s key promises, we will make the secret police files from the socialist dictatorship public on 4 November. This will be a difficult and sensitive issue for many families, but without confronting the past, there can be no genuine political change.
