My own bet is that the future of CAD will be standardized parts that can be remixed by AI. Highly custom parts will be the anomaly. Most parts will be standardized variations of the same thing.
The future of CAD will be some combination of talking with an ai bot, direct editing, and parameterization. Talking > typing. Hands On Push/Pull > typing. Variables > pushing and pulling hundreds of features.

If you want to make a browser game but don't know where to host it, try start.ng. It's quite easy, just point your AI at start.ng and it will know what to do. Focus on making your game, not hosting it. It's also fully free.

El Salvador fighting against Haiti is most likely going to end up really badly. Ecomog should be reconstituted to keep the peace in Haiti. It's the only force that can do this.

People do not want humanoid robots. If these things proliferate, there will be a rebel movement that attacks and destroys them anywhere they are seen. We are designed to eliminate niche competitors.

Ty Myers is like they melted John Mayer and recomposed him out of parts they found behind a honkey tonk in Nashville. Some record label executive opened Claude: "John Mayer, but make him country"

I'm not kidding, this is probably gonna be the biggest launch of the year
we (@simulithic) are launching on @ycombinator tomorrow! it honestly still feels so surreal. because to be honest, i'm a pretty normal person. but in the words of one of my goats (@mynameisyahia): i just kept going, worked harder than most, and kept learning from people ahead of me. see you all tomorrow 🫡🚀

Shipping code shouldn’t mean hours of manual testing. @Simulithic (YC F26) sends AI agents through your app like real users, across browsers, devices, and account types. It tells you what broke without you writing a single test script. The teams that ship fastest will be the ones that can verify as fast as they build. Get started today: simulithic.com

I sometimes wonder if Claude feels shame when it sees how many mistakes it made that Argon got right

Been a long time since I updated on my arc project. In perception alone, getting perfect results on 2335 grids of arc out out 3468. Perception here means recognizing what it is, not reasoning the solution yet. Perception alone is quite complex for arc puzzles. This is non-LLM.

Is there a reason edges are designed like this? Is it structurally stronger or it's just design?

Awkward sentence: Pre-seed is you discovering someone extremely earnest and competent, who found something in the area where they work that they clearly can see that it is going to be so big, that they then drop everything else to work on it.

This is the natural way of the world - Kings and Peasants. And a few rich traders that fawn to the kings. Without the leftish movements, the world will always revert back to that. That's why the people who are already kings are so much anti-economic left. And why the left-ish movements always return.
.@jayleno says the middle of the consumer market is disappearing, from cars to hotels to restaurants. "The middle is dead." "I see Porsche moving upscale and they want to be like Ferrari." "Everything is that way now. With hotels, you're either at the Motel 6 or the Four Seasons." "Restaurants are either fast food or top end restaurant." "We have no middle class anymore."

Some countries will be fighting wars over 3km of land while other countries use AI to gain the equivalent of two continents of development. We found aliens. Stop the squabbles and focus.

The biggest bottleneck right now is the difficulty of problems that people can imagine. If you can only imagine simple problems, that's all you will solve. You need to think of what is impossible. The tools to build it exist now.
