🚨Sheffield Labour capitulates. Greens didn’t give an inch. This is how you do it.
BREAKING: Labour leader Fran Belbin has announced that the party *will not* be proposing to run Sheffield council as a minority administration at today’s full council meeting. This is after last minute talks today aimed at finding common ground between Labour and the Greens.

Zionism is one of the clearest forms of racism in the modern world. It is a doctrine that fundamentally requires ethnic cleansing. And so Labour choosing the war criminals over basic morality and their own citizens is quite on brand for Labour, actually.

According to Von Der Leyen, "since the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, imported fossil fuels cost Europe an additional €127bn without a single molecule of energy in addition." Yup, the very same Von Der Leyen who at the very beginning of the war - when the US and Israel attacked - said she supported regime change in Iran (euronews.com/2026/03/01/iran…). The geopolitical equivalent of cheering on the guy sawing off the branch you're sitting on, then acting shocked when you hit the ground. Which is pretty much a European specialty at this stage...
Startling figure from VDL speech today: "Since the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, imported fossil fuels cost Europe an additional €127bn without a single molecule of energy in addition." That works out about €281 per EU resident, 67% of the EU's entire annual budget

The BBC lists 'five reasons why Republicans lost so badly'. The fact many US voters wish to distance themselves from Israel is a glaring omission from this BBC list. Even US Vice President JD Vance admitted it was one of the reasons the Republicans did so badly. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cqkg…

‘America First was exposed as codeword for Israel First, and the American people paid the price for it. Trump sold the vision of reviving the American Dream for Netanyahu’s dream of Israeli hegemony, and a Greater Israel.’
The US midterms elections turned out to be an utter disaster for Donald Trump and Republicans. This disaster had many factors, but by far and away the biggest factor started on February 28th when Donald Trump launched his foolish war against Iran for Israel. After campaigning on a platform of being a ‘peace President’, Donald Trump betrayed the hopes of the American people and became the second coming of George W. Bush. After railing against the madness and delusions of neocon foreign policy, he appointed the same pro-Israel neocons to the highest positions in his administration, who convinced him that a war on Iran would somehow be a good idea. The campaign donations and power of the Israel lobby over American foreign policy convinced him to throw his domestic agenda of an era of American revival out of the window, and pursue a foreign war so obviously disastrous, that not even his war criminal predecessors could be convinced by Israel to launch it. The hubris and disaster began on day one. By assassinating Ali Khamenei and Iran’s leadership, which had continuously exercised restraint and avoided a major war, they allowed a more hardline and determined Iranian leadership to take power and impose tremendous costs on the US, and entire global economy. The fantasy of a regime change uprising evaporated into thin air as the Iranian population rallied around the flag, and the only regime change turned out to be replacing Ayatollah Khamenei with Ayatollah Khamenei. A war that was supposed to last ‘a few weeks’ has instead gone on for 250 days. Genocidal threats of wiping out an entire civilisation achieved nothing in negotiations, the Strait of Hormuz still has not returned to pre-war conditions, and global energy prices remain sharply elevated. Despite War Secretary Pete Hegseth’s odious worship of American warplanes bringing ‘death and destruction, all day long’, none of the US’ war objectives were achieved. As each day passes, the US economy and global economy are pushed closer to a major crisis. Already struggling working class Americans are facing financial misery as the rising cost of living from Trump’s war suffocates them. And yet stunningly, Donald Trump has not realised his catastrophic mistake, and is considering resuming the war on Iran despite global oil reserves already exhausted, leaving the US and global economy without any buffer for the consequences of a resumed war. The alarming short-sightedness of the American President, the global disaster he has caused, and the bewildering display of hypnotised loyalty to genocidal war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, who achieved his dream of getting the US to fight Israel’s war against Iran for him, has infuriated millions of struggling Americans, and the midterm results reflect it. America First was exposed as codeword for Israel First, and the American people paid the price for it. Trump sold the vision of reviving the American Dream for Netanyahu’s dream of Israeli hegemony, and a Greater Israel. Washington’s empire is now in a paralysed state of dysfunction: stuck in a quagmire abroad, its economy creaking under the weight of the quagmire, and political deadlock locked in with a Democrat ‘blue wave.’ Of course, nothing will fundamentally change in the US, since the Democrats and Republicans simply represent different parts of the capitalist class that rapaciously concentrate more wealth into its hands, while the rest increasingly own nothing. Whatever is left of the US’ soft power evaporates into thin air, its hard power is increasingly questioned as supposedly the world’s most powerful military could not defeat a regional power it has kept in economic misery for over 4 decades with sanctions, and most of the world views the US as a dangerous rogue state that brings nothing but war and destruction, disrupting the rest of the world’s concentration on economic development. A humiliating state of affairs for the empire in decline.

Abdul El-Sayed's decisive victory in the Michigan Senate race proves how desperate voters are to back candidates who actually campaign to end a corrupt status quo of permanent austerity and forever wars. He won despite the entire uniparty establishment turning on him, despite openly hostile media coverage, and despite a record ad spend smearing him either as a jihadist or communist, or both. He is considered "controversial" and of the "hard left" because he supports universal health care and a wealth tax over lining the pockets of the billionaire class.

Israel apologists are unique in the way literally all of them constantly pretend to believe things they don't actually believe. Over the years I've argued with members of every political ideology on earth, and I've never encountered any group who does this like Zionists do. Other ideological factions might hold idiotic and downright evil beliefs, but for the most part they tend to actually believe the things they are saying. Not so with Israel supporters. I've been interacting with them for years, often over extended conversations just to understand their arguments and their worldview, and what stands out the most in these interactions is the way they constantly lie about what they think is true. They'll pretend to believe a given high-profile critic of Israeli atrocities hates Jews just to help marginalize their voice. They'll pretend to believe Iran is on the cusp of developing nuclear weapons in order to help drum up support for war. They'll pretend to believe antisemitism is one of the most urgent and dangerous threats to our society today in order to push for more laws against pro-Palestine protests. They'll pretend to believe every human rights group on earth is lying about Israel committing genocide in order to help Israel commit more genocidal crimes against humanity. Over the years I've interacted many people who misrepresent my beliefs and the beliefs of other people, but Israel supporters are the only ideological group I've ever encountered who consistently misrepresent THEIR OWN beliefs. I've seen it over and over and over again. I'll corner them on one of the claims they are making about what they believe, completely dismantling their given reasons for why they believe what they claim to believe, and they'll just shift to some other reason justifying the existence of their belief. And this should not be surprising. If you would support genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid, of course you would lie about your own beliefs to advance those agendas. Bad people do bad things. If genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid do not bother you, then you are unlikely to have ethical qualms about communicating without intellectual honesty. These days I mostly just respond to such people by saying "You don't really believe that. You're just pretending to believe that in order to advance the interests of a genocidal apartheid state." It's the only way to deal with a group who literally never engages in good faith on any level. Israel supporters need to do this because their worldview is not grounded in truth or morality. They don't hold their position because it is morally or factually correct, they hold it to advance personal agendas like career advancement, ladder-climbing, getting into Heaven, getting those tasty hasbara bucks, or winning the approval of their Zionist friends and family. In a healthy society, supporting Israel would be as culturally toxic as loving Adolf Hitler or advocating the legalization of child sex trafficking. But we do not live in a healthy society. We live under a murderous, globe-spanning empire that is held together by lies and endless bloodshed. Zionism is rewarded and amplified because its evils are shared with the evils of the rest of the western imperial power structure which is choking our world to death.

And let's not forget that Natan Khazin was in the Givati Brigade of the genocidcal Israeli occupation forces, before becoming co-founder of Azov's Nazi battalions.

Mehdi responds to Piers Morgan's question about the US cutting aid to Israel. "Don't fall for the bait and switch. They don't want to cut aid and cut Israel off. They want to cut aid and make Israel a military partner -bring Israel into the US military production line. They know they've lost public opinion on aid. So they want to integrate the two militaries so deeply that a future progressive president can't do anything about it in 2029."

INSANE: lsraeIi-occupied polling places in America. This image was taken today - Election Day - at Laconia, New Hampshire's Ward 4 voting location (Memorial Park Clubhouse). The lsraeIi flag you see is hanging directly behind the registration table. People are voting just a few feet to the left. This is 100% verified authentic. This is 100% insane. In a sane world, there would be no excuse for any foreign flag to fly over American voters on Election Day. But in the world that we live in, this particular polling place, with this particular flag, is, frankly, the most honest polling place in America.
