I’m thrilled to announce that I’m now an Investment Partner at @villageglobal, where I’ll continue to lead pre-seed/seed rounds across categories and geographies.
These last two years at Village have been a dream come true, and I can’t wait to take on a larger role at our firm. Thank you to @adwane, @bencasnocha, @amritcat, and @reidhoffman for continuing to take a chance on me and all of my colleagues at Village for their support and mentorship.

Our heterogeneous cloud just got better. We're announcing a cluster scale deployment of @positron_ai as our next partner.
We believe demand for fast inference will outstrip supply for the next decade. Our bet on Positron is another step towards getting fast inference for opensource models into builders' hands.

we’re building the bridge between media and commerce.
in my last startup i was building AI for retail. that's where i saw this problem. alain saw it from the other side, building and exiting MundoPet, and then as Partner and COO of BR Media Group, now part of Publicis Groupe. he’s one of the sharpest operators I know, and I’m glad to be building alongside him.

Venture firms tend to experience network atrophy over time -- GPs literally age out, or call in rich, or lose relevance in other ways.
But, even as this happens, their brand strength can be getting better, because their early winning investments become better known over time.
So perhaps surprisingly, a firm's network can weaken even as its brand improves.
With a strong brand but weaker network, you naturally shift to do later stage investing, as brand helps you access/win but doesn't help you discover day zero founders.
In late July 2024, I cold-emailed @PaulEremenko to ask about his new startup, and he replied minutes later with a 10-page white paper.
His vision was so ambitious that I wanted to back him before we even had our first call. And a week later, we did just that, leading his pre-seed round. Fast forward to today: we’ve tripled down in the company as it announces its $50M Series A, led by @NEA.
