The Democratic party that you and I both loved no longer exists
It is being co-opted by Marxists who call themselves Socialists because it sounds better
But also by Islamists who are hostile to liberalism
We are electing people who openly hate America
We have insecure elections, open borders, an extremely complex network of NGOs that launders money (oftentimes state funds) to feed this machine
Many in politics and the media are either unaware of what's happening or too cowardly to stand up
A full generation of "educated" kids who were indoctrinated to believe that all of this is good
Etc etc

NYT frames this as if USAID employees had a quasi-property right to high-paying, taxpayer-funded jobs.
In reality, this tells a darker story—we spent half-a-century debt-financing a managerial class of Leftists whose only qualifications were ideological.
"Sheryl Cowan, 57, was making $272,000 a year as a senior VP at a U.S.A.I.D.-funded nonprofit when she was let go at the end of March 2025. Last month she had an online interview for a $19-an-hour job managing a Penzeys Spices store in Falls Church, Va."

Over the last few years the Democrats made a string of wild accusations about President Trump’s plans:
- project 2029
- he’ll pack the Supreme Court
- he’ll put his opponents in jail, etc
None happened
And then Carville says this
Every accusation is a confession
🚨Top Democrat political consultant and campaign strategist, James Carville, just stated on the Left-wing ‘Policon’ podcast that when the Democrats regain power, they plan to:
-Grant statehood to Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, so that the Democrats can unlock 4 extra seats in the Senate.
-Pack the U.S. Supreme Court from 9 Justices up to 13 Justices, adding another 4 Left-wing Justices to the court.
-Reopen the U.S.-Mexico border and grant mass-amnesty to every single alien currently inside of the United States.
-His advice to Democrat politicians: “Don’t run on it. Don’t talk about it. Just do it.”

(1) I don't think protestors should attempt to interfere with immigration agents.
(2) I think every American has the right to carry a gun.
(3) I think you, when engaging in obstruction with federal agents, can get hurt. When armed, things can go wrong.
(4) I think we actually don't know as much about this situation as we presume because both sides are focused more on telling narratives than getting to the facts of what actually happened.
(5) I think Tim Walz and Jacob Frey have made the situation far worse and destabilized by amping up white progressives and refusing to assist immigration agents.
(6) I think Kristi Noem and Greg Bovino have made the situation far worse by being unrestrained in how they proceed, not prioritizing the criminals, gang members, and more seriously problematic illegals, and not thinking of the public relations fall out should things like what are happening actually happen.
(7) I think Trump supporters who want an unrestrained and unmeasured deportation response are playing into the hands of progressives' PR and alienating normal voters.
(8) I think Trump cannot back down from deportations due to mob violence because that will only encourage more mobs and violence to stop other polices the left does not want.
(9) I think every illegal should be deported. I think prioritizing the worst ones who are criminals, gang members, drug dealers, etc. is a smart strategy and exposes the Left's sanctuary policies as unreasonable.

You’re gonna only hear this on X because Mainstream Media in the Department of Public Health and City Hall has been lying to the public. You have a EMT a First Responder who feet is on the ground in this community telling you he goes on 50 to 60 overdose calls a day he say the city is full of bullshit. I’mma let you hear his conversation and let you judge for yourself. Who would you believe somebody that’s here or somebody pushing a pen and paper

The events of the last few days have made it incredibly clear that we need to change our tolerance for violent offenders.
One strike and you are out.

Yes, there have been some rightwing nuts who have committed violence against the left. But this is not a both sides issue.
This is about one side, the side the data says has the most mentally unwell people, constantly using the platforms of the press and politicians to decry their opponents as Nazis, racists, fascists, bigots, and authoritarians out to destroy the country.
This is about the worriers on CNN, MSNBC, NPR, etc. who claim the right is rolling back rights and Trump is an authoritarian.
This is about the Democrat politicians who call for "fighting fire with fire."
This is about the leftwing activists who have cheered on violence. This is about the leftwing politicians who have championed violence for trans rights, made excuses for violence, etc.
This is about those on the left who said tax cuts would get people killed, Net Neutrality would get people killed, and medical reform would get people killed.
This is about those in the press and left who, even this week, falsely said the Supreme Court had given Trump permission to deport people just based on their ethnicity, which is a lie.
There are crazy and violent people on both sides, but only one side has the mainstream media, politicians, Hollywood celebrities, and more fueling the madness and poisoning the minds of activists on the left.
Floyd Lee Corkins
James Hodgkinson
They were the beginning. It keeps getting worse.
Yep, a crazy guy in Minnesota killed two Democratic politicians. But there were two assassination attempts on Trump. Two Israeli embassy workers were killed. A CEO was killed, and kids in multiple Christian schools were murdered.
Do we really have to keep a body count for both sides?
How about stop convincing progressive activists who already say they're suffering from despair from turning to violence as the way to stop their political opponents?

GOOD NEWS thanks to @Patterdude and @ZavalaA
We move a bit out of the dark
The California State Senate passed a bill Thursday that would make it a crime for state lawmakers to sign non-disclosure agreements when they determine how to use taxpayer dollars or put together state laws.
Non-disclosure agreements are legally binding contracts that force the people involved to keep information secret.
The legislation, AB 1370, is a direct result of KCRA 3's reporting on how California's government has either used them or allowed special interest groups to use them on a major public project and state laws.
The State Senate passed the bill unanimously in a 39-0 vote on Thursday.
KCRA 3 has learned that Democratic lawmakers in the state Senate shelved the bill Wednesday night and told the bill's author, Assemblymember Joe Patterson, R-Rocklin, he needed to prove he had the votes to bring it up for a vote. After KCRA 3 pressed leaders about that decision Thursday morning, they apparently reversed course and decided to hold the vote.
The Assembly still needs to approve small, technical changes before it heads to Gov. Gavin Newsom's desk.
An earlier version of the bill cleared the Assembly in a unanimous decision without floor discussion or debate on Friday, May 23.
The bill, AB 1370, would specifically prohibit lawmakers from signing or forcing anyone to sign the secrecy agreements by making it a violation of the legislative code of ethics. The code is enforced by local district attorneys and violations can result in either misdemeanors or felonies.
KCRA 3 was the first to report the use of NDAs in the California Legislature’s construction of a new $1.1 billion office building for state lawmakers. The Legislature directed 2,000 people, including five state lawmakers and dozens of government workers, to sign NDAs to keep broad information about the project secret. Democratic leaders haven't given an update on the project in years.

I introduced this bill and championed it when I was in the California Assembly and CA Democrats did everything they could to stop it. Thank you to @Patterdude for continuing the effort in the CA state legislature and reintroducing the bill!

Britain’s grooming gangs scandal is attracting attention. It’s happened before, but now it seems different.
I’ve dedicated most of my career in journalism to covering it. Because it’s the most appalling atrocity in modern British history.
In this thread, I’ll tell you what I know about the crisis, what I’ve uncovered, and what is yet to be revealed…

Many Democrats want to replace Biden with California Gov. Gavin Newsom. Doing so would be a disaster for the nation. Please consider these three key facts, and watch the video below for an overview:
1. Newsom's policies led directly to homelessness increasing by 31% in California, even as it decreased by 18% in the rest of the US from 2010-2020. Homelessness increased another 7.5% between 2022 and 2023.
2. Newsom's policies led directly to skyrocketing crime. One out of four San Francisco residents polled say they were a victim of crime in the last year, and 42% say they were a victim more than once.
3. Rising crime and homelessness, high taxes, and unaffordable housing under Newsom has resulted in people fleeing the state. The state's total population declined by 573,000 from its peak in 2020.
I have interviewed hundreds of homeless people in California. Many, if not most, are from out of state. Many said they came to California so they could be paid to use hard drugs, in many cases to self-medicate severe mental illness. And many are assaulted and left to die, resulting in far higher rates of drug death than other parts of the nation.
Don't believe the hype: Newsom is not compassionate. He only cares about himself, and his policies result in grotesque cruelty.
Great opportunity to be part of the first acquisition for the platform that will easily span Northern & Central California. Can easily see expanding to SoCal, Western Nevada and Oregon. And we're actually fun to work with too!
We’re looking for a COO for a new SMB platform in trailer distribution in NorCal. Will work with me and @mcrandon on the ground in the Sac/Lodi/Stockton area. Any ETA-curious operators out there looking to jump aboard and learn SMB leadership? This is gonna be a good one! DM and plz RT!
