We have a transmission outage affecting all of Greater Palmer, Butte, and northeast to Glacierview. 17,000+ members are affecting. Crews are working on a fix.

We have a widespread outage due to an issue with a Railbelt utility losing some generation capabilities. We are bringing on more of our generation now to fix the issue. Thank you for your patience.

High wind warning has been extended to tomorrow morning at 6am, which means possibly another night like last night ahead of us. Please report outages via SmartHub when able as our phone lines have been pretty overwhelmed.

Most of the transmission-level outage is back on. Still have Sutton/Chickaloon/Glacierview area. Around 5000 members remain out in dozens of outages across the service territory.

Crews are working throughout our service territory to get power restored after a night of windstorms. Mainly the Butte/Knik River Road area, Wasilla Fishhook and Palmer-Wasilla Highway areas remain.
