happy 10th anniversary to the story that rekindled both my love and my belief in magic, people, and art.

with how deep Olly’s voice is in the anime, puberty must have been brutal

ALT A simplistic comic of Olruggio and Qifrey around 13 years old being praised by an older witch. ‘Thank you so much for helping with the village today’ . Olly responds proudly ‘Of course, it’s no trouble for witches like u-“ his voice promptly cracks and he slaps hands over his mouth, turning bright red. The adult witch laughs and says ‘We’re counting on you Mr. Witch’ as Qifrey is doubled over in background with how red and uncomfortable Olly is. The last panel is Olly whacking Qifrey harmlessly and shouting ‘STOP LAUGHING’ as Qifrey continues to smile and laugh and says” ‘Mr.Witch’ stop hitting’”

if qifrey was actually dead and wholly removing the silverwood could leave him in the state before it 'revived' him, a bittersweet version might be depending on how it is cured/removed, qifrey 'dies' in that he loses all his memories.
