When you’re so popular in New York City that people are dressing as you for Halloween. Mayor Mamdani meets his twin while celebrating with Governor Kathy Hochul in the streets of NYC on Halloween.

Abdul El-Sayed “I have a sense that you all are here today because of the decisions of somebody who's not here right now. I'm just going to tell you, this is a state of 10 million people who deserve a lot better from their government. I'm a lot more focused on the 9,999,998 that are not the ones you guys are talking about. I'm not in the business of driving clicks for you. I'm in the business of trying to solve problems for the people of my state”. That’s the spirit💙

SHE HAD TO SING WITHOUT WORDS. BECAUSE SPEAKING COULD COST HER FREEDOM.
Liam Cunningham opening Macklemore's Dublin show. He introduced the first Palestinian performer of the night with a devastating caveat:
"The first piece you're going to hear is wordless. She's from the occupied Palestinian territories, and at the time, anything she said could have severely affected her freedom."
Even stripped of her words, her voice filled the arena.
Cunningham reminded the crowd that Gaza is not just a headline of destruction:
"Gaza is so much more than the devastation we see daily on our screens. It’s a place of extraordinary people, culture, history, love, and joy. Tonight, we celebrate life. We honour resilience." 🧭

I literally cried watching how loved Mayor Zohran Mamdani is in NYC especially by the children there from all walks of life. The questions they asked him were important to them and the way he answered them made me love him even more. The kids tried to keep him from leaving as they kept saying we love you Mayor.

THEY TRIED TO CANCEL HIM. SO HE BUILT HIS OWN STAGE.
Macklemore just wrapped a 3-city European tour. Every arena sold out.
▪️ 100% of proceeds went to 12 organizations providing aid to Palestinians.
▪️ Guests included Hozier, Greta Thunberg, and UN Rapporteur Francesca Albanese.
▪️ Lineups were kept secret until showtime to avoid backlash.
Instead of backing down after being pulled from a massive US tour, he turned his platform into a fundraising machine for Gaza.
A real one. 🧭

UK police arrest 94-year-old human rights lawyer Margaret Owen outside the US embassy in London for protesting against genocide and for Palestine. There is no democracy in the West. There is only capitalism, imperialism, and fascism.

I was here last night. Incredible energy, rousing passion and the roof nearly blown off. Inspiring to be among 12,500 people of every ethnic and religious background imaginable, from teens to people in their 80s, united by one cause: Free Palestine and stop the genocide.

The Pope has become the first pope to EVER vote in a national election breaking a 2000 year tradition.
He is believed to have voted AGAINST Donald Trump.
That is how much Trump is hated.

Manager: “Everyone in this office has contributed except you.”
Employee: “Contributed to what, sir?”
Manager: “The money we're raising for the CEO's daughter's wedding.”
Employee: “I know about it. I'm not contributing.”
The manager looked up from his laptop.
Manager: “You understand this isn't compulsory, right?”
Employee: “Yes, sir.”
Manager: “Then why are you making it difficult?”
Employee: “I'm not making anything difficult. I simply said I won't contribute.”
Manager: “Even the cleaners contributed something.”
Employee: “That's their decision.”
Manager: “You've worked here for seven years. The CEO has been good to you.”
Employee: “I agree.”
Manager: “Then what's the problem with giving $100?”
Employee: “Because I don't have $100 to give away.”
Manager: “You earn $4,200 a month.”
Employee: “Yes.”
Manager: “And you're telling me you can't spare $100?”
Employee: “I'm telling you I won't.”
The manager leaned back.
Manager: “Be careful how you speak. People remember these things.”
The employee stood up.
Employee: “Sir, can I ask you something?”
Manager: “Go ahead.”
Employee: “When my wife was admitted to the hospital last year, do you remember what happened?”
Manager: “What does that have to do with this?”
Employee: “I requested a $2,000 salary advance. I wasn't asking for free money. I offered to repay it over six months.”
Manager: “And?”
Employee: “HR rejected it.”
Manager: “That's company policy.”
Employee: “I understood. So I asked if the company could release my annual bonus early.”
Manager: “And they said no?”
Employee: “Yes.”
Manager: “Again, that's policy.”
Employee: “Exactly.”
The manager frowned.
Employee: “But last week, HR sent three reminders asking employees to contribute toward a wedding that reportedly costs more than $200,000.”
Manager: “That's completely different.”
Employee: “I know. One was an emergency. The other is a celebration.”
The room went silent.
Then the manager asked a question the employee wasn't expecting.
“Do you know who personally approved your promotion two years ago?”
Employee: “The CEO?”
Manager: “Yes. He rejected three other candidates and chose you.”
Employee: “I know, sir.”
Manager: “Then perhaps you should remember that before deciding what kind of man he is.”
The employee looked at him.
“Sir, I'm not questioning what kind of man he is. I'm questioning why gratitude is starting to look like a monthly deduction.”

People who work full time but still require public assistance to survive are not leeching off the government or us.
Their employers are.

Women's alcohol deaths are increasing - my daughter died alone after fighting for decades.
What do we do to create suffering?
Is it insecurity, anxiety, industry profits, lifestyle, advertising, lack of support?
All avoidable.

BREAKING: NAILED IT! Fearless journalist Mehdi Hasan savages JD Vance for being a shameless racist despite having an Indian family.
This is a knockout punch...
"JD Vance's in-laws' names are Radhakrishna Chilukuri and Lakshmi Chilukuri. I wonder if he tells them this stuff, too. To their faces," Hasan wrote on X, responding to a vile Vance campaign rally clip.
"Or does he just save it for white MAGA rallies? Truly a racist pathetic embarrassment of a son-in-law to his brown Indian immigrant in-laws," he added.
The clip in question showed Vance engaging in the kind of lowest common denominator, xenophobic, gleefully ignorant rhetoric that has defined the Republican Party's messaging this entire election cycle. They know that they can't fix gas prices or improve affordability because of Trump's interminable, disastrous Iran War, so they're mashing the big racist button as hard as they can.
"A very distinctive memory I have of right after 9/11, I was a young man in high school," said Vance. "I remember that sense of pride, you remember that? That all of us had, Democrat, Republican, and Independent in our country. And I remember driving to a local gas station to wait hours in line for gasoline...
"That was now, of course, more expensive because of a region of the world made up of countries of names that I couldn't even pronounce," he said.
The joke there, folks, is that Arabic names are alien sounding and impossible to pronounce for a simple country boy like James David Vance. Who exactly finds this kind of provincial, bigoted material appealing? The infuriating irony, of course, is that while Vance can't "pronounce" Arabic names, he has absolutely no problem dropping bombs on Arabs in Gaza.
This is the deal with the MAGA Devil that Vance has made. He wants to be the leader of a party that is now unashamedly white nationalist, but his entire family is Indian-American. His wife's name used to be Usha Chilukuri. One of his sons is named Vivek.
Vance is so power-hungry that he is actively creating a world that is more hostile to his own flesh and blood. He's a disgusting, spineless creature who can never be permitted to inhabit the White House.
Please like and share if you think that Vance is a disgrace!

Analysis by economists at the Adam Smith Institute found that the average household will pay £206.50 extra on gas and electricity, £36 extra on water, £112.19 more on food and
£140.64 more on fuel in 2027.
So while millions of cash strapped households have to somehow find an extra £500 to pay for all this, Andy Burnham tells us to look on Google maps to find the cheapest price on fuel. He’s tinkering while Britain goes broke.
