Hard to believe that @splunk IPOed 10 years ago today. What an amazing journey. I had the pleasure of funding three brilliant founders and an idea 18 years ago. Today, Splunk has more than 7,500 employees! Congrats to @michaelbaum, Erik Swan, and Rob Das for creating magic!

If Covid did originate in a lab leak, as seems increasingly likely, the people who cooperated to conceal this fact can congratulate themselves. They muddied the water sufficiently that even today we view both the epidemic and China very differently than if we knew for sure.

People are posting about how they're learning to play an instrument, studying a forgotten language and finding new hobbies. For me it's been watching hours of Daniel Tiger, learning what a Blippi is and finding creative ways to create a jungle gym between my couch and shoulders.

Remarkable and impressive that the invasion of the highly contagious COVID-19 into the US has been delayed. Thanks to the professionals fighting it, caring for the sick, and racing to find treatments and vaccines. A time for appreciation, not politics.
