Total gibbrish...why not try these experiments with the civil services officer cadres? Healthy competition and the best are retained after every two years of Tour of Duty!
Delhi: On the Centre's decision to extend the Agniveer service period from four to six years, Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh says, "This is a win-win solution. It was stated from the beginning that the programme would be reassessed after four years. During the reassessment, their performance has been very good, including across all operations. Therefore, it was decided to give them a second tour of duty for two years..."

A few months ago, I was speaking to a friend who is an IPS officer of IG rank. He casually mentioned that some of his batchmates were individually worth upwards of ₹500 crore.
Let that sink in.
And this isn’t confined to one political party or one state.
The rot is systemic. Across states, across political dispensations, the public exchequer and public trust seem to be fair game.
The Great Indian Bureaucracy in which mostly top officers are corrupt & show zero transparency while occupying their office.
The amount of wealth created at top bureaucratic offices in India is insane when the per capita income of the country isn't even $3000.
If a politician has to go to the public every 5 years, something should also be done for the bureaucracy to test his/her character because the money involved & the stakes are too high to give a free run for entire life with passing the UPSC exam.
A review of the work of bureaucrats should be conducted every 5 years but who will supervise because the Judiciary is even in a further bad position when it comes down to debating corruption in India.
The major roll back was due to the fact that if these AGNIVEERs got into the Police, BSF, ITBP etc then Recruitment may Corruption NAHI KAR SAKTAY ....Because AGNIVEERs were to be directly Appointed.....JAI HO
Roll back of the Agnipath scheme 📍
Good decision but came too late 📍
This decision amounts to almost the rollback of the scheme.
Glad to have stood Rock solid against this foolish scheme.
The previous recruitment system was working perfectly fine till someone decided to bring this proposal.
Do you appreciate my consistent stand?
This is courage 💪🙌💯

Paranjpe, you disgrace your family name. A Colonel of the Indian Army is a senior rank. He commands a battalion or regiment. I picked up my rank after 22 years of service including participating in a war & serving in field areas including high altitude areas. Am proud of my rank.

There's a reason you retired as Colonel and he as a LTG.
You've been a bitter man ever since.

Agniveer has been the biggest surrender of top brass in defence forces. Rather than accepting such a scheme, resignation was more ethical. No wonder, Indian Air Force lost sports complex. Weak are bound to lose.

Modi has never been civil, he suffers from morbid inferiority complex which leads to such unpleasant situations.
AP Singh is a straight speaking from the front kind of person, hence not favoured by sugary-syrupy political establishments.
Sad state of affairs that a PM can get so petty.
Air Chief Marshal AP Singh did not receive a customary or formal farewell by the Modi
Air Chief's open displasure about Fleet Modernisation delay and his huge popularity among Educated Indians set the tone.
Modi is not known to practice Civility to those who points out his policy flaws, nor receptive of competition when it comes to popularity
Nothing much expected from an uneducated, uncouth, देहाती minded power intoxicated average Indian politician

Farewell DENIED😤
Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, who led the IAF through Op Sindoor and logged 5,000+ flying hours, retires Oct 31.
His farewell golf round, a tradition for every outgoing Chief, was set for Oct 28.
That SAME morning, the Housing Ministry's Land & Development Office SEALED the Air Force Sports Complex near the PM's residence “till further orders.”
No reason given. No word from the IAF.
It couldn't wait 72 more hours?

Mutual Protection, Mutual Loot
Why don’t you object to the inclusion of IAS officers in the Pay Commission itself?
Indian citizens are being betrayed by an organised bureaucratic cartel in which IAS officers control the very institutions and mechanisms meant to regulate and hold them accountable. They oversee their own vigilance, engineer their own promotions, influence their own pay structures and determine the privileges from which they themselves benefit.
Isn’t this the most blatant conflict of interest?
This is a continuation of the colonial system, where British officers were investigated by fellow British officers, complaints were buried, investigations were avoided and clean chits were issued to protect their own. Decide their huge privileges and luxuries.
We replaced the British rulers but preserved their system of bureaucratic privilege, mutual protection and unaccountable power.
IAS officers create arbitrary hierarchies, manufacture higher posts and promotional avenues for themselves, influence successive pay revisions and accumulate enormous privileges without corresponding responsibilities, measurable performance or accountability.
And while creating endless opportunities for themselves, they systematically block opportunities for everyone else.
They resent talent and expertise from other services and cadres. They create artificial barriers, arbitrary rules, seniority disputes, administrative obstacles and prolonged litigation to prevent outsiders from rising to positions of authority.
Their objective is simple: monopolise power, protect their own cadre and ensure that no one outside their privileged circle can challenge their dominance.
Why should the biggest beneficiaries of a system have the power to frame the very rules governing their salaries, promotions, privileges, disciplinary proceedings and accountability?
Who gave a particular bureaucratic cadre the right to treat public institutions as its private property?
This is nothing but the systematic looting of Indian taxpayers through an administrative structure designed to perpetuate its own privileges.
This is not governance. This is not public administration.

During 26/11, NSG Commandos were forced to sit in aeroplanes, waiting for Home Minister to arrive so he can flag them off to fight terrorists
Same when during Kedarnath Floods, relief trucks were forced to wait for photo op & they never reached the destination, got stranded in bw, countless lives lost, not single survivor received aid
Yeh Desh Ram bharose chal rha tha, if NSG weren't headed by outsider IPS, NSG wouldn't have to wait for some dipshit irrelevant politician 😓
A clock company was given a 140 year old bridge to repair. Four days after it reopened, the bridge fell into the river with 500 people on it. 135 died, more than 50 of them children. The man accused was later weighed in sweets at a ceremony in the same town.
His name is Jaysukh Patel, managing director of the Oreva group, the company behind Ajanta clocks.
In March 2022 the Morbi municipality gave Oreva a 15 year contract to repair and run the bridge.
On 26 October 2022 the bridge reopened. The town's chief officer later said the company opened it without telling them.
On 30 October 2022, around 6.40 pm, it was Sunday evening and the bridge was packed with families. It collapsed.
The youngest to die was 18 months old.
A forensic report said the cables were rusted, the anchors broken and the bolts loose.
Ten people were arrested, including Jaysukh Patel. He was charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
In December 2023 the Gujarat High Court rejected his bail. In March 2024 the Supreme Court granted it, with a condition that he stay out of Morbi.
In November 2024 a court relaxed that condition. Days later a community group in Morbi honoured him at a temple event and weighed him in sweets.
Narendra Parmar, whose 10 year old daughter died on the bridge, said, "It is a matter of sadness for us to see the main accused being honoured like that."
Four years later, the trial is still going on.
Modi did NOT like the Forthright ACM AP Singh so was waiting for an opportunity to show him his place....Modi could NOT find any.... so he denied him a Golfing ⛳️ out ....Just goes to show the absolute low level to which MAHAMANAV will fall . ...JAI HO
Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh,
The golf ground may have been shut to deny you a farewell… but remember, this nation owes you its deepest gratitude and everlasting respect for the services you have rendered to India.
We will remain forever indebted to you for your courage, leadership & distinguished service.
Tomorrow, you hang up your boots. But not before scripting one of the finest chapters in the glorious tradition of the Indian Armed Forces.
Operation Sindoor will be recounted for generations… and so will the story of how you led the Indian Air Force, sending a shiver down the spine of a rogue state and its handlers.
Thank you, Marshal, for your service to the nation.
Wishing you a wonderful and fulfilling life ahead.

Those military officers who justify government’s taking over of Air Force golf course have actually lost their class.
AP Sir, I m sorry that today as a community we failed to uphold your honour.
