Der große Philosoph Kanye West sagte dazu: „Everything is exactly the same.“
Verbunden mit allem. Verkantet mit nichts.
Because the Boomer Holy War, otherwise known as the Second World War, is the creation myth, the biblical Genesis, of the political world order we inhabit. History begins in 1945, Year Zero, when the Allied and Axis powers, the cosmic forces of absolute Good and Evil, clashed for dominion over the world.
What we call “Western Values” are the liberal American values of the postwar order: unregulated global capitalism, liberal democracy, individualism, civil rights, and equality. Three generations of men have been indoctrinated into this cult, which is ultimately a secularized heresy of Aristotelian humanist Christianity, repackaged as a universal moral doctrine.
Hitler has assumed the role of Satan, while some grotesque amalgamation of Winston Churchill and Martin Luther King Jr. occupies the throne of Jesus Christ. The Nazis are the defeated legions of Hell, and the Holocaust is the ultimate revelation of Evil against which all subsequent political and moral questions must be judged.
You’re not allowed to have nice things like community, traditional families, immigration restrictions, or any meaningful sense of national, ethnic, racial, or religious identity as a White person because any deviation from the sacred doctrines of the postwar consensus threatens to bring about Holocaust 2. To believe in any of these is to practice heresy. Racism is the ultimate heresy, and White guilt is origin sin, without a path to atonement.
The further removed each generation becomes from 1945, the weaker its attachment to this haphazard, pseudo religious worldview grows. In 13 years, an entire century will have passed since the outbreak of the Second World War.
The moralizing about the Holocaust, the obsessive fixation on stopping identity politics among native Westerners, the relentless insistence on feminism, diversity, and the ideological apparatus of the postwar order will resemble the exhausted dogmas of a dying secular religion whose founding revelation has lost its power over the living.
This is obvious as the materialistic promise of infinite growth and wealth has failed, and mass immigration, diversity and the third world are an existential threat to westerners who have no socioeconomic opportunities and a poor shot at family for formation.
Anerkennung, soziale Einbettung, Geld, uvm.
Dann Trauer („Ich fühle mich so einsam“)
It’s all good. WAGMI.
This left-right dichotomy is a fun social media exercise, but pretty useless when trying to understand what leads to human catastrophes.
It is not whether someone is "left" or "right" but only whether individuals still bear powers (pluralistic balance) or whether a state bureaucracy bears all the monopolistic power, which always ends in catastrophe.
In the end the only thing that matters is whether a regime increases the power of the state or the power of the individual, easily measured by the state quota.
"Good regimes" increase the power of the individual.
"Bad regimes" increase the power of the state.
Both can be "left" or "right".
The state quota is defined as total government spending of total GDP. High State Power means BUREAUCRACY (=SHIT) and Low State Power means MERITOCRACY (=GREAT).
When the power of the individual increases (low state quota <40%) humanity flourishes and when the power of the state increases (high state quota >50%) then humanity suffers badly.
Hitler and the Nazis were definitely economic socialists in the sense that they increased the power of the state and reduced the power of the individual.
In that sense they are completely similar to todays leftists and marxists and maoists and stalinists.
Couldnt care less from which direction they come. I want state quota below 30% and want individuals to bear the power and humanity to flourish. To accomplish that we need pluralistic power of individuals. This accelerates science, the arts, innovation and everything else humans love.

You absolute midwit. Congrats on repeating the Wikipedia "Nazis were far-right, end of story" summary you absorbed between TikToks.
Yes, the Nazis crushed independent unions, jailed and murdered communists and social democrats, and Hitler liquidated the Strasserite "left" wing of his own party in the Night of the Long Knives. That part is not in dispute. They were not Marxist class-struggle socialists. They hated Bolshevism as a Jewish plot and treated international socialism as the main enemy. Fine.
What your middle-school history class skipped is that they still ran a National *Socialist* state: private property existed only as long as it served the Führer’s racial and war goals, wages and prices were controlled, industry was cartelized under state direction, profit was subordinated to the party, and the economy was planned for autarky and rearmament. That is not free-market capitalism, liberal conservatism, or classical right-wing economics. It is the same family of state-directed, anti-liberal, collectivist economics practiced by every other fascist and "national socialist" regime. The name was not a prank; the 25-point program and the early rhetoric were full of anti-capitalist planks precisely because they were competing with the actual socialists for working-class support.
Your North Korea comparison is the usual gotcha and it is only half-clever. Yes, names can lie. But the NSDAP did not merely call itself socialist while secretly running a Rothschild hedge fund. They nationalized, directed, rationed, and regimented. The difference from Soviet socialism was mainly that the Nazis kept the owners as managers under party orders instead of shooting them all and installing commissars. Both systems produced shortages, secret police, and mass graves; one just had better uniforms and Wagner.
Elon pointing out the obvious—that "National Socialist" is not an ironic branding exercise and that the regime was economically left of any classical liberal or conservative—does not make him a moron. It makes him less obedient to the post-1945 academic consensus that insists every totalitarian who isn’t a full Marxist must be filed under "far-right" so the left never has to share the body count. Money didn’t buy him a brain; it just bought him a platform where he doesn’t have to pretend your selective reading of 1930s Germany is the complete picture.
Keep yelling "far-right fascists" while ignoring the actual economic policies and the party’s own name. It is the historical equivalent of covering your ears and shouting.

Peer Review ist ein Scam. Sage ich seit Jahren.
Joe Rogan just exposed medicine's dirtiest secret: "peer reviewers" never see the data.
ROGAN: "if it's peer-reviewed, the scientists do not get to look at the actual data... that's one of the reasons that they can say crazy things like it's 100% effective."
And the proof? Vioxx. Merck removed three heart attacks from a Vioxx publication, the New England Journal published it anyway, and the drug is estimated to have killed 120,000 people.
Here's how the rest of the machine works. 🧵
Understanding the difference between crony state capitalism and real capitalism would do more for human health and lifespan than all of the longevity industry combined!
If everybody understood Ludwig von Mises health span and life span would increase by multiples of what can be expected from current "longevity science".
"The longevity industry is a goldrush without gold."

Do not fail to appreciate the clinical and personal significance of the dissociative haze of depression.
There's growing papers on the dissociative type of depression. I think this is a very useful framework and it helps account for the way it becomes easy to walk around like a zombie in a world which can seem overwhelming.

What an incredible psychoanalysis of Elizabeth Holmes. This article also points to a darker element of human nature - denial of shadow self and its consequences.
"I suspect that E Holmes is not fully conscious of her own deception because she has constructed an elaborate system of defenses against recognizing the truth. I think she is psychotic, not in our ordinary sense of the term, meaning hallucinations or elaborate paranoid fantasies, but in having a fractured relationship to what Jacques Lacan called the symbolic order. She doesn't relate to language, and therefore truth and falsity, in a normal way"
While this paper focuses on E Holmes and psychotic/psychopathic features, I think the overall concept of denying your shadow self > therefore denying the bad parts of yourself > and projecting onto others to retain a false superior image is actually a schema seen in a lot of people (largely cluster b/dark triad). The goal with many of these people seems to be 1) absolve themselves of all wrongdoing 2) shift focus away from them and toward others 3) try to benefit from/get away with whatever they did while simultaneously disenfranchising other people and 4) maintain their fantasy of an ideal self (I’m benevolent, I’m a good person, I’m a victim, the person confronting me is in the wrong, etc) - aka denial.
This active and ongoing denial of self effectively prevents them from being able to integrate the darker parts of who they are and reach a place of acknowledgment > taking accountability > accepting blame > radical acceptance > CHANGE.
They will *never* admit that they do harmful/hurtful things because their internal firewall prevents them from being able to see that this is in fact a part of who they are. They can’t compute that they are doing it, and so effectively maintain some kind of split on themselves. With people like this, there is absolutely no tangible connection to the bigger picture, because to them it doesn’t exist. It’s like talking to a brick wall, or being taken on an infinite merry go round. There is no end.

🚩 When Polymarket or Kalshi says there's a 70% chance something will happen, should we believe it?
Excited to share our new paper, just published in PNAS, in which we examined more than ONE MILLION forecasts from Polymarket, Kalshi, Manifold, and Metaculus, spanning 12 domains and forecasting horizons ranging from hours to years.
The main finding is striking: Prediction markets and collective forecasting platforms are remarkably well calibrated. When they assign events a 70% probability, those events really do happen about 70% of the time. And this pattern holds surprisingly well across different platforms, domains, and forecasting horizons.
But there's an important twist. When we looked more closely, we discovered systematic biases in some of the domains where forecasting matters most (wars, elections).
For decades, psychologists have documented how poorly humans often reason about probability and uncertainty. Our findings offer an encouraging counterpoint: When judgments and information are aggregated, we can achieve a surprisingly accurate understanding of an uncertain future.
That doesn't mean we can predict what will happen next with certainty. But it does mean that we can be remarkably good at estimating how uncertain the future really is.
This work was a great collaboration. The data for this project was meticulously collected for years by Justin Dickerson, the project was led by Hilla Shinitzky and Maayan Peer, with @mattansb leading the analyses.
