Can we please get the soft porn ads off playoff broadcasts, TBS, Fox, NBC, @MLB? My son wants to watch baseball with Dada, but how do I justify that when a half-naked women could come on screen anytime?? This is America’s Pastime. Parents shouldn’t have to worry about this.

Time for the Hall of Fame to evolve and induct Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper together. C’mon. Take a page from the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame and honor one of the best shows in MLB history.
As a teenager I got tired of playing video games on dynasty mode and simply stacking my team to be light years ahead of the competition, it ruins the fun of it when the deck is so obviously stacked for one team. It’s absurd a pro sports league is letting this happen.
All I ask is that one of these years @MLB gives us a #HRDerby with legends mixed in. Pujols and Bonds are already there. Add in some guys like Griffey, McGwire, Arod, Belle, Thome, Ortiz, Manny, Sosa, etc. and let’s connect generations.

If you receive a red — controversial or not — you’re suspended for next game.
Suspending the suspension is laughable and automatically puts into question integrity of competition.

Am I crazy to think a 5 year suspension for a 12 year old who did what his father/the coach told him to do is extreme and unfair? I get he should know better, but that’s an impossible spot for a 12 year old to be put in. The dad is the issue here.
An illegal pitch at a youth baseball game in Kansas City over Memorial Day weekend has resulted in a lifetime suspension for the coach and a five-year suspension for his son, the pitcher.

Breaking: Former St. Bonaventure HC Wolfgang Wood has been hired at Cathedral Catholic, the school announced.
Wood led the Seraphs to a 115-66 record in 6 seasons, including 3 league titles
3 CIF finals appearances and a regional state finals appearance.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a more lopsided coaching performance decide a game at this stage of the tournament.
The most annoying person this time of year is anyone rooting as hard as they can against 16/1, 15/2, 14/3 upsets not because they are a fan of the higher seed, but because of their bracket.

Will second this. Directed Steven in AAU and he is one of the kindest, highest character players I’ve ever worked with. Disgusting to see a coach do this, but very on brand for the fake tough guy to choose someone he knows is so respectful he won’t argue back.
Lost in the Mick Cronin drama from last night.
Steven Jamerson tried to walk on at Michigan St and was told no. So he asked to be a student manager and was told no.
The kid worked his tail off to play at USD eventually transferring to UCLA. Mick owed the kid more respect than that back at a place that holds those hard memories for Steven.
Steven works out in our gym, his alma mater, all summer. He is always polite, always says “please” and thank you, always has time for our current players, always has a smile on his face.
Steven may not ever see this but I hope he knows all of Crespi loves him and supports him. He’ll do the “right thing” and handle this with grace and class because that is who he is. He will be the adult in the situation when his coach has failed him.
