The train involved in yesterday's Lewes derailment appears to be the very first Great British Railways-liveried set of carriages. Train 387172 was unveiled in May by the Transport Sec. In its distinctive blue paint, it formed the front half of yesterday's accident train.

It’s so desperately sad. I feel so much for Arday’s grief-stricken family. Suicide is the most mysterious of actions. We wonder what if, what if. Struck by @kehinde_andrews saying Arday felt there was no way out. How can such feelings be addressed before they overwhelm?
