When Israel-US bombings of Iran began last year, Mr. Merz hailed them.
"Doing Europe's dirty work"
100bn Euro is nothing compared to the Earth-shattering blow Iran's Powerful Armed Forces will deal against those who dare harm our people.
Red lines are a thing of the past.
Germany's Chancellor Merz on Iran War:
We now have costs exceeding €100 billion for Europe alone over the last eight months, solely because of the increase in energy prices caused by this conflict.
More than €100 billion extra has been paid by businesses and consumers in Europe because energy has become more expensive as a result of this conflict.
We have an economic interest in bringing this conflict to an end as quickly as possible.

The naming of wars can obscure responsibility for initiating them and shape narratives that serve the aggressors. Calling US and Israeli aggression against Iran the “Iran conflict” does exactly that: it erases the aggressors from the frame and places the targeted country in the title, subtly shifting the burden of responsibility.
This is not neutrality; it is distortion disguised as impartiality.
Call aggression what it is, name those responsible, and refuse to let diplomatic language conceal the truth.
Full analysis:

Let us not obscure the truth with misleading euphemisms. There is no such thing as “Iran conflict.” This is an unlawful "war of aggression" waged by the United States and Israel against Iran. The refusal to call aggression by its name is not neutrality; it is moral evasion. If we lack even the courage to identify the aggressor and name the aggression, how can we claim to have the moral courage to confront injustice, propose workable solutions, or contribute meaningfully to peace? Peace cannot be built by appeasing aggressors, legitimising aggression, condemning the victim, or sacrificing fundamental principles.

They attacked Iran twice in less than nine month - while negotiations were underway. They massacred our children in Minab, murdered our daughters in Lamerd, assassinated our leaders, and intensified sanctions on our people. They destroyed the very MoU they signed on 17 June, and now they demand that the world condemn Iran!
The world is paying the price of your unlawful aggression through regional instability and global economic insecurity.
You cannot launch a war of choice, set the region ablaze, unleash global chaos, and then play the victim.
You cannot evade responsibility by turning the aggressor into the accuser and the victim into the culprit.

Israel’s recent attempt to justify its murder of 170 journalists in Gaza was bogus on its face
But this methodical debunking of each case exposes how repulsive the propaganda effort is
It also forces the question: are IDF vets working in US media the real terrorist journalists?

What is so special about your country that’s attracting the interest of the CIA or the U.S government, if you like?
Well, here’s your answer. This is perhaps the most simplified explanation. Even someone in kindergarten should understand it, after watching this video.

In 1976, Nigerian journalist Sam Ogun confessed to DRUM that he had spent nearly 10 years spying on Nigeria for the CIA. He also warned that many other Nigerians were being recruited to infiltrate different sectors of the country.
He told the magazine, "The CIA has so many arms or branches — trade union organisations, educational institutions, cultural organisations. The CIA is the father and through these organisations which are sent to Africa to help developing countries. The agents or officers of these organisations use their organisations as covers to spy for the CIA."
Ogun said Nigerians could be recruited without knowing it, benefiting directly or indirectly from development programmes run by organisations he claimed were linked to foreign intelligence networks.
"You don't apply to be an agent or spy. You are spotted, trailed, and an assessment is made of you without your knowing," he said.
His own career as a spy began in the early 1960s, when he worked as an "information officer" for the American Motion Picture Export Company. An American film distributor known as Jack paid him to write reviews of foreign films for local newspapers, which were then forwarded to New York. Ogun said that was how he was first placed on a payroll.
He later confessed to spying on foreign diplomats, trade unionists, civil servants, students and fellow journalists. He said he was trained to use a camera and a pocket-sized tape recorder designed for espionage.
Ogun eventually retired from spying and explained his decision to confess: "I found out by myself the evil the CIA had been doing to Africa."

The German Foreign Minister’s rhetoric on the Strait of Hormuz is utterly shameful — a grotesque distortion of reality that reeks of Mephistopheles in Goethe’s Faust.
Germany must be held fully accountable for its complicity in military aggression against Iran and bear the heavy costs of its active participation in the crime of aggression.
No amount of offensive posturing will allow the Berlin regime to evade responsibility for its role in this illegal war and the war crimes committed against the Iranian people.

⚡️⭕️Statement by the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, on the anniversary of the passing of Imam Khomeini (may his soul be sanctified) and concerning the political situation:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to God, who sent us the prophets and the master of them, the Messenger of God Muhammad (peace be upon him), with guidance and the religion of truth, and after him the infallible, pure, and righteous Imams of guidance, and following them the chosen, select companions and the godly scholars, so that they might all be a measure of righteousness and uprightness and an example for humanity.
**First: A salute of reverence and esteem to the late, great Imam Khomeini, the reviver of religion and the shatterer of the tyranny of the arrogant powers.**
God Almighty granted humanity the blessing of the rise of Imam Khomeini's (qs) movement and his divine revolution in Iran, under conditions in which America dominated Iran and its resources and colonized many of the world's nations, including in our region, in tyranny and injustice—set against the Soviet Union's domination over another part of the world.
This revolution sprang from a divine Islamic foundation built on the principles of truth, justice, independence, freedom of choice, Islamic unity, respect for the human being, resistance to injustice and occupation, and support for the oppressed of the world. It established the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran through a popular referendum, drafted its constitution and laws, and declared itself "neither Eastern nor Western."
Imam Khomeini (qs), from a religious standpoint and as an intellectual and cultural choice, is one of the manifestations of the divine path for all humanity, for whoever wishes to choose the way of an upright and just human life. For this reason, many popular groups around the world hastened to embrace his leadership and his faith-based, divine vision—and this is a legitimate right, especially in comparison with other intellectual, materialist, or hostile choices.
Neither West nor East allowed Iran to rest in pursuing its political experiment under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (qs). The arrogant powers waged a war against Iran for eight years through the front of Saddam's Iraq, mobilizing global and regional forces to topple the Islamic Republic—which confronted the war with sacrifices in the millions, alongside economic and international siege, through the steadfastness of its leadership, its people, its Revolutionary Guard, its army, its commanders, and its elites. Despite all the difficulties and challenges, Iran advanced on every front, supported liberation movements and the front of truth, and did not interfere in anyone's affairs. The crown of its noble, great stances was its support for the Palestinian people in liberating their land and Jerusalem, and its support for the resistance movements against the criminal Israeli occupation that poses a danger to the entire region—indeed, to the entire world.
Imam Khomeini is a model of the divine leader who defends truth and human dignity. In contrast stands the model of the tyrants—America, Israel, and others—who spread wars, chaos, criminality, and the extermination of children, women, crops, and offspring across the world. Gaza is a glaring example before the eyes of the world every day. Whom do we choose for dignity, human honor, and uprightness? We have the pride and the unceasing gratitude to God Almighty that we followed the example of Imam Khomeini in our way of life and in our support for uprightness and truth.
Why did America, the West, and their lackeys fight Iran for forty-seven years? Why do they besiege it? Why do they want to prevent it from possessing defensive power, which is a legitimate right of every state? Why do they want to prevent it from the peaceful enrichment of uranium permitted under international law? The answer: they will not accept it as a model of uprightness, justice, and independence, but rather want it subordinate and harnessed to their interests and their tyranny.
America and the Israeli entity launched two wars against Iran, assassinated the divine leader Imam Khamenei (qs) and a number of military, political, and nuclear leaders, and killed civilians and children in their schools and destroyed civilian facilities—in clear injustice and aggression before the world—in order to topple the system and seize control of Iran. But they did not succeed, and they will not succeed, with this great Khomeinist people who were raised on the path of Hussein, sacrifice, and self-redemption, and who—God willing—will flourish under the leadership of the righteous successor, the leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei (may his shadow endure).
The resistance in Lebanon drew inspiration from the path and thought of Imam Khomeini (qs) to liberate the land from the usurping enemy in the region. Yet we fight for our land and our people from the background of our obedience to our Lord—that we not be slaves to anyone, and that our generations live their lives independently in their homeland alongside the people of their country. This resistance is the planting of Imam Musa al-Sadr (may God return him safely) and the path of the master of the martyrs of the nation, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God be pleased with him). It is allied with political forces and groups of various affiliations who believe in the resistance and make sacrifices for its sake.
**Second: On the anniversary of the passing of Imam Khomeini (qs)—which coincides with the Eid of Ghadir and the guardianship (wilaya) of the Commander of the Faithful Ali (peace be upon him), pioneer of justice and champion of truth—we review our political situation, shaped by these noble occasions, in affirmation of the path of authenticity and truth.**
Thanks to Iran, which helps us recover our land and our right in the face of the Israeli-American aggression despite the major confrontations it itself faces. It works to secure the cessation of aggression and a comprehensive ceasefire in Lebanon as part of the cessation of aggression against Iran.
The result of the futile, humiliating, and shameful direct negotiations for Lebanon—negotiations rejected wholesale by broad segments of the Lebanese people—came in the form of the "Washington Declaration," which lays out the fundamental principles that America and Israel see for subordinating Lebanon to the project of "Greater Israel."
For the core objective to be the disarmament of the resistance as a precondition for any agreement means the execution of Lebanon's strength and an existential threat to exterminate its resisting people. It is a declaration for the sabotage of Lebanon and its instability and for sowing sedition among the Lebanese to Israel's benefit—so that Israel may take by politics what it could not take by war. This is impossible for anyone who wants dignity, honor, and the safeguarding of the blood of the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners, and of this great, sacrificing people. We are not among those who would betray the trust of the martyrs, the land, and the future of the generations.
**The Declaration is a road map for the extermination of part of the Lebanese people and the enslavement of the rest.**
For the security track to proceed under the slogan of an illusory ceasefire—interpreted to mean that Hezbollah ceases fire, that the resistance fighters abandon the southern arena, while aggression continues, under military pressure—is surrender and defeat and the achievement of the enemy's objectives. It is like Iblis's dream of entering Paradise.
We are concerned only with stopping the comprehensive aggression—through a ceasefire and Israel's withdrawal. The ceasefire must be comprehensive: no fragmentation between the south and the rest of Lebanon, and no freedom for the Israeli enemy to kill in Lebanon. So long as the occupation exists, the resistance continues.
We have not given any commitment to anyone not to resist the aggression and respond to its attacks. So long as the aggression continues, we will confront it with all the strength we possess, and we will reach it wherever we decide and are able. So long as our villages are not safe—bombed, demolished, our people killed—the settlements will not be safe, and they shall feel our might and our severity. The killers of the prophets shall not settle upon our land. We will fight the invaders until we expel them from our land and stop their aggression, relying on God's help and support, on the valor of the brave heroes of the resistance, and on the rallying of our great, exceptional people—who have offered great sacrifices for which we honor them, who stand firm in supporting the resistance, and who are the surging reserve of the martyrs' blood. God Almighty said: "And do not weaken in pursuit of the enemy. If you should be suffering, then indeed they suffer as you suffer, but you expect from God that which they do not expect. And God is ever Knowing and Wise." (An-Nisa: 104). We are reassured of the victory of this Husseini resistance—"and it was an obligation upon Us to help the believers."
The core objective must be Lebanon's sovereignty, which is achieved through the exclusive solution: halting the Israeli aggression against Lebanon in all its forms—air, land, and sea—withdrawal from Lebanese territory so that the army may deploy south of the Litani River, the release of the prisoners, the return of people to all their villages, and reconstruction.
We do not accept any linkage between the existence of the resistance and the cessation of aggression and Israel's withdrawal.
No one has the right to interfere in Lebanon's internal affairs among the Lebanese—in organizing their political, economic, and social life and the decisions they agree upon concerning the sovereignty of their country and its protection within the national security strategy they agree upon.
We are keen on national unity in confronting the aggression; it is a strength for us all.
We hold the authorities responsible for carrying out their duty to remedy the flaw of internal Lebanese division caused by their political choices, which do not represent the national consensus of the Lebanese components, the principles of the constitution, and the formula of coexistence.
The authorities are responsible for taking the initiative toward measures and dialogue leading to the unification of the Lebanese in confronting the Israeli aggression against our country, for it is an aggression against us all. It is better that the sons of this country reach an understanding in confronting the aggression first, and then we address our issues afterward under the ceiling of the constitution, the Taif Agreement, the unity of citizens, and coexistence.
We call on the officials to stop this farce and humiliation called "direct negotiations," so that you may be stronger through the rallying of all your people around the choice of a sovereign state under your administration—one to which the enemies will inevitably submit.

Israel killed 9 paramedics in roughly 72 hours.
Let that sink in.
These are some of their faces.
According to Lebanon’s latest health sector figures, now updated after the killing of additional paramedics in the last 48 hours:
• 125 healthcare workers killed
• 273 wounded
• 149 attacks on the healthcare sector
• 142 ambulances targeted
• 32 medical centres destroyed
• 16 hospitals forced out of service
• 221 ambulance crews attacked
Lebanon’s emergency sector is not collapsing accidentally.
It is being systematically dismantled.
Israel is committing war crimes against Lebanon’s medical services.
