So tonite while talking of extremes in Quantum Physics, I invented a new term, and that term is “Philoso-theory” -Philoso-theory is a descriptive label for a whole region of activity: mathematically serious theorizing that has moved so far beyond experimental reach that it is forced to confront metaphysical questions about the nature of spacetime, continuum vs discreteness, what “exists” at the deepest level, etc. copyright moefuzz August 25 2026 -more to follow

BREAKING: Wood sent for lab testing from Noah’s Ark Durupinar Site.
We’re excited to finally share this official update from the lead archeological professor Dr. Cenker Atila:
Multiple pieces of wood have been recovered from the Noah’s Ark Durupinar Site and are now in the lab for carbon-14 dating.
The wood is damaged and charred. This could be from an attempt to set fire to the ark at some point in history, or from volcanic activity in the area long ago.
While the depth at which it was recovered indicates it is very old, Dr. Cenker is clear: this is not proof that it is Noah’s Ark until the carbon-14 results are in.
One interesting note: charred wood decomposes far more slowly than uncharred wood, especially when buried in soil.
Wood has officially entered the conversation.

A Jet2 Boeing 737 lands at Birmingham in a strong crosswind. It looks odd from behind, but it’s the standard way to hold the approach path in a strong crosswind. During the rollout the jet drifts toward the edge of the runway before the pilots steer it back to the centreline. From the frames I can see, it stays on the pavement. Crews train for exactly this, so it looks wild on camera but sits well within normal limits. ✈️

Mid-air refuelling is routine for military aircrafts, but turbulence can make it challenging. When two aircrafts are flying just metres apart, sudden air movements can disrupt the connection between the refuelling boom and the receiving aircraft. In this footage, the boom disconnects, and fuel can be seen briefly spraying into the air.
