Also there is 8 BCH in XO bounties at @bchblaze!
🔵 Build with XO: Create an XO template. 10 × 0.3 BCH.
🟢 Migrate to XO: Bring an existing project to XO. 5 × 1 BCH.
We're excited to see what you build and hear your early feedback on XO!

Are crypto oracles rewarding the wrong thing? Many oracle systems incentivize producing data. But what if the better approach is to reward data when it's actually consumed? @EmergentReasons explains why getting the incentives right matters.

SolidCash is out: write Solidity, run it on Bitcoin Cash.
Near-complete Solidity parity. Stateful contracts. A real EVM project, @eaccmarket, running on BCH*. One year of active development, and more than a year of tinkering before that.
None of this was possible before the BCH 2026 upgrade. The upgrade gave the VM the room. SolidCash is what you can do with it.
What SolidCash is:
- solidc, the compiler: .scash source to runtime artifacts
- solidcash, the TypeScript SDK: contracts, transactions, network providers, debugging
- solidhat, the Hardhat analog: whole-project compilation, in-process test network, deployments, generated bindings
- Ethers 5 and 6 shims, so existing EVM tooling habits carry over
What that opens up: a full stablecoin USDT contract on BCH, unwrapping to native CashTokens. ERC-20 contracts that wrap existing CashTokens. EVM bridges. The EVM-like DEXes, lending and DeFi that BCH has been missing. Embrace them.
If you can write Solidity, you can write SolidCash.
Try it: npm create @solidcash/solidhat@latest my-contracts
Or point your AI at it. Solidity parity means your coding agent already knows most of the language. Hand it the agent reference at solidcash.org/AGENTS.md together with your Solidity contract, and let it do the port or cross-compilation.
Disclaimer: this is still a beta. Do not bet too much value on it. Security might need further hardening, and there will be undiscovered gaps. Found a gap? Open an issue and send the contract that broke. Let us close them together and make it better.
Thanks to molecular (@cotta3) and @toorik for the initial support.

3% of “critical” software security bugs, in all of recorded history, have been found in the last month.
This is on pace to find another ~100,000 bugs this year alone, adding ~26% more vulnerabilities to the all time total
Do you realize how fucking insane that is?

We've written a new blogpost:
Why We Support 1-Minute Blocks
ParyonUSD supports the CHIP to activate 1-Minute Blocks on Bitcoin Cash. We've written before that faster blocks is likely the biggest win for DeFi on BCH

it severely bothers me that a significant part of the BCH community casually toss around "oh we can just move the upgrade dates around nbd"
did you enjoy the relative calm and lack of upgrade drama for the past six years? i guess we can just move that around, nbd.
Thank you for working on Bitcoin. Seriously.
Fiat money and the system of control they've built around it is terrifying and it will never loosen its grip around our necks.
If we don't save ourselves, noone will. Thank you for helping.

Ethereum helped pioneer DeFi, but its success also came with architectural baggage. Building exciting applications is one thing. Scaling them to millions or billions of users is another. @EmergentReasons explains why scaling matters for Bitcoin Cash 👇

Exciting preview on the tempnet by @bitjson. 1 min BCH blocks rolling out quite well. Hopefully, the rest of the ecosystem can adapt to the new block time change

What happens if the website you used to create a smart contract goes offline? With XO, compatible wallets can retrieve verified templates and manage contracts independently of the original application.

Look at this, makes the benefit pretty real. NEVER get roadblocked by a slow block ever again!
On this chart, I'm hoping @XO_bitcoincash will be unable to travel the vertical chart, and working hard to ensure a foundation that will prevents the horizontal.
Time will tell how good a job we do here 🙏

🚀 FundMe Cash just got a massive update!
The BCH crowdfunding platform looks much better and now supports the improved, far more reliable WizardConnect from Cauldron.
No more flaky WalletConnect sessions. WizardConnect (built by the Riften Labs / Cauldron team) is the BCH-native upgrade — faster, more stable, HD-wallet aware, and properly designed for Bitcoin Cash.
Smoother pledging, cleaner interface, and a better overall experience for funding BCH projects non-custodially.
Check it out: fundme.cash/
Big step up for BCH UX. Sayoshi cooked. 🔮✨

Why aren't more applications being built on Bitcoin Cash? Custom integrations are expensive, and limited wallet support creates a vicious cycle. XO Templates aim to break that cycle by making protocols reusable across compatible wallets. @EmergentReasons explains below👇
