Few days ago, i heard the founder and leader of the Movement for Change quizzing if government needed to build the expressway? Listen > youtube.com/watch?v=nRAb7coC… Read > dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.7536… Dashboard > ssa-ea.vercel.app @UCCGH_Official

Hon. @KAgbodza I am enjoying the Year of Roads. However, some of the commuters are already destroying the newly constructed roads! So some actions are needed to keep the roads for those of us who understand the importance of these roads!

Hon, @Cassielforson, I hear Accra-Kumasi expressway is 20km away from clearing. I suggest we organize a test drive on the cleared road because this project is a revolution. We need the expressway to Bawku. Kudos!
In the past, Ghana spent over 50 percent of its national revenue on servicing debt. This left less money for schools, hospitals, roads and other essential infrastructure. Today, I am proud to say that we have made significant progress. We now spend less than 20 per cent of our revenue on servicing debt!

I do not know how people come up with these allegation. I had a neighbor attack me physically alleging i had placed a CCTV camera in their house. Even the CID police @GhPoliceService thought it was true. That's how i started managing police expectation in Ghana.
My attention has been drawn to a video circulating in which a man makes very serious allegations, specifically naming my name and office. He claims I put him under surveillance and also hacked him 24/7. He further claims that he reported the case to the @GhPoliceService at the time under the leadership of IGP Dampare. He alleges a cover-up by the Police. He further claims that to silence him, I ordered the assassination of his only brother. He says all of these happened in November 2023, a time when I was not a Minister for Communication as I am today and had no legal or official authority to place anyone under surveillance or cyber monitoring. These are grievous allegations with no basis or facts, and they impugn criminal action on my part. I have therefore lodged a formal complaint with the authorities and asked that the individual be invited to substantiate his claims in the interest of justice. For God and Country. 🦁🇬🇭

Ethical AI is philosophical and focused on abstract principles while examining the broader societal implications of widespread AI usage while Responsible AI is more narrowly focused on how AI is being used and related to accountability, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

Its because no one is publicly shamed for these acts. Create an online platform, let them report monthly every project ongoing. You can read and see what they report, even make them public for citizens to cross-check. @KAgbodza

If you don't believe it, don't give it leverage!
German economist and mathematician Joachim Klement’s model, which correctly identified the last three World Cup winners, predicts an all-European semi-final line-up and ultimately a first World Cup title for the Netherlands. I have enormous respect for the predictive power of statistical models, but I have one major problem with this forecast: it does not have a single African nation reaching the quarter-finals. If this expanded World Cup has demonstrated anything, it is that the more FIFA opens the door to more teams from Africa and other regions, the more they get to show the quality of football those regions can produce. I would be very surprised if we reach the quarter-final stage without at least two African nations still standing. I shall revisit Joachim Klement’s predictions after Sunday’s group matches. For now, I want to safely predict that Klement is wrong.

I am very excited to see these videos. There's a huge gap in online content for education of Ghanaian children in KG, etc. in 1) English 2) Ghanaian languages. Idea: Learn from Ms. Rachel and Blippi. youtu.be/4WtH6tLsbQU?si=BjIZ…

Chairman Wontumi manages to get Ghana Eximbank to sign him huge contract in excess of 30million GHS. The president appoints the board with reps from several ministries including finance, etc. Strangely, the bank is the one crying wolf. Genuine people will never get assisted!

The spirit of football is lost with this world cup. FIFA will suffer for this. In the future, every country will take drastic action to relataliate. Such a pity. #SafeFIFA #SafeWorldCup2026 #WC26
🚨🎙️Didier Drogba: "African Teams Cannot Keep Paying The Price" With what I'm hearing, I don't think this is heading in the right direction. First, Ghana could be without Thomas Partey for an important match because of issues unrelated to the competition. That's a huge setback, not just for the team but for the entire country. Now we're hearing reports of Senegalese fans facing visa difficulties. How is that fair? Imagine playing one of the biggest matches of your life without the support of your fans in the stadium. Football is about competition, atmosphere and national pride. Supporters are part of that experience. I think something has to be done and adjusted immediately because, from where I'm standing, it feels like African teams and African supporters are the ones being affected the most.

Meet me there...🤗
Most mathematicians choose one problem and spend a career solving it. Stephen Moore(@moorekwesi) looked at Africa's most urgent problems and decided all of them were math problems. He was not wrong. Born in Saltpond, Ghana. BSc Mathematics with distinction from KNUST. Then two master's degrees in Europe, one from Kaiserslautern, one from Johannes Kepler University Linz, where he stayed to complete his PhD in Computational Mathematics. He was being shaped by the finest applied mathematics institutions on the continent, and then choosing to come back. That choice is the whole story. Because Stephen did not return to teach and wait. He returned to build infrastructure that Ghana did not yet know it needed. He joined @GhanaNLP and became Director of Programs. What started as a quiet research initiative became the engine behind @KhayaAI, Africa's first AI translation tool for Ghanaian languages. His team published what is now the largest Ghana language dataset ever released online: 41,513 parallel sentence pairs across Twi, Fante, Ewe, Ga, and Kusaal. Not proprietary. Public. So every researcher, every developer, every language technology builder in the world could access it freely. He was not building a product. He was building a floor for everyone else to build on. Then came the grants. Google Research, twice. Over USD 95,000 to advance multilingual and multimodal work for global health. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, for AfriMed-QA, a pan-African medical question-answering benchmark. USD 100,000. The British Council. A collaboration with University College London worth GBP 150,000 for AI solutions to humanitarian challenges. The world kept arriving at his door. He kept answering and routing everything back to Cape Coast. His research now spans computational mathematics, mathematical epidemiology, machine learning, and African language AI. Forty-plus published papers. Collaborations with INRIA in France, University of L'Aquila in Italy, where he is a Visiting Professor. The National University of Singapore invited him to a joint ASEAN-Africa workshop on computational mathematics. He was one of ten Africans in the room. He is also the person who set up a formal exchange program so that mathematics graduate students from the University of Cape Coast can spend a semester in L'Aquila studying at the highest level. Six students have gone so far. More are going. He teaches, supervises, publishes, builds, and then builds the pathway so others can follow. At the 2025 Global AI Summit on Africa in Kigali, Stephen stood at Booth 18 and demonstrated Khaya AI to the world. The tool that started in a research group at a Ghanaian university was now being shown on a continental stage. @moorekwesi is proof that the most powerful thing a mathematician can do is refuse to separate the theoretical from the practical, and refuse to separate their success from their community. ` The equations were never just on paper. They were always about the people.
