You may have heard about the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela 🇻🇪.
Early reports speak of tens of thousands affected and more than 50,000 people still unaccounted for. The situation is critical, and the country was not prepared for a disaster of this magnitude.
If you're able to help, even the smallest contribution goes a long way.

"anza just launched alpenglow, the most substantial tech change since solana's inception"
"incredible this changes everything"
"do you know what alpenglow does?"
"no, do you?"
"no"

we've been hunting down orderflow leakers @fomo for a few months now.
our validator blocklist has grown quite a bit. should we make it public?
Not much more to add here. If any validators want to hear more about Jito's stance on this topic, my DMs are open.
For BAM, nothing changes: we'll keep working towards increased transparency, delivering the best validator performance and supporting applications and users on Solana.
One year of BAM mainnet today.
Watching this team relentlessly tackle and solve each hard problem in pursuit of a big vision has been a privilege.
We are on the cusp of delivering the most critical upgrades yet, and the next two quarters will be the most important to date.
Thank you BAMlets for the support.
100% is the target.

alpenglow, a complete consensus rewrite for solana, went from whitepaper to testnet in ~1.5 years? and to mainnet within the next few weeks? on a ~$75B network?
no one ships like solana

Our financial markets are evolving w a new category that isn't DeFi or TradFi. "Onchain finance" competes w Wall St. on its own terms, pairing the benefits of public blockchains w "trust" as a feature.
@jchervinsky & I wrote about it in @FortuneMagazine: fortune.com/2026/09/18/oncha…

Stonks purchases are 30% of JTX flows since this was rolled out yesterday. JTX is the best place to trade stonks

JUST IN: Trading fees have been lowered for all @LaunchOnSF ecosystem assets to 0.02%, the lowest tier on JTX.
A new dedicated tab just for Stonk assets has also been added on the Explore tab/sidebar.

Triton Preconfs is live, with our first partner BAM by @jito.
Each Solana transaction reaches you the moment the leader's scheduler accepts it, over gRPC, before the block is built, executed, or cut into shreds.
About 91% arrive ahead of a Geyser stream.

Quite possibly *the* best record from that era
After revisiting @grizzlybear's YELLOW HOUSE recently, I've never been more convinced that it was a paradigm-shifting classic. A look back for its 20th anniversary:

solana slot times are now 300ms
BAM now schedules ~30ms batches, up to 10 batches in a slot (up from 8)
first order effect: market makers using MPP can now **deterministically** update their quotes up to 10 times per slot!
second order effect: higher. much higher.

JTX hit new volume record today with over $20m. Yesterday was 3rd highest day at $17m. Combined for $41k in fees ($7.5m annualized)
Product is young but early feedback is strong and improves every day. Give @jtx_trade a shot and let us know what you think
It only makes sense that "For", which entails a change in the status quo, has to win over both that are actively against ("Against") and those that are either indifferent or not convinced ("Abstain").
Can't believe this is causing so much controversy.
Replying to @DrNickA
Observationally I do not think SGP3 has the super majority support required to pass so I think the vote accurately captured the network stakeholders' intent.
