Thanks to @thisisgm we now have flea's search optimizations in oma-cast! rust based, so you know its blazingly fast. This is optional (for now) and you can run `build-search` in the CLI

The Statue of Libert was officially dedicated #OTD in 1886. There is a history of flight demonstrations around the Statue of Liberty, including one by Wilbur Wright in 1909, depicted in this Dean Mosher painting on display in our "Early Flight" gallery: s.si.edu/3USTD76

Our Albuquerque team manufactured the PVA panels that were populated with our high-efficiency, quad-junction Z4J+ solar cells that were integrated onto NASA NEO Surveyorβs 20-ft long sunshade structure.
The array delivers up to 2 kW and is the spacecraft's only power source as it hunts hazardous asteroids and comets.

Backlit logo is really cool. Should have never gotten rid of it years ago.
I am going to cover it with some electrical tape though because I have no soul. You all have fun!

One of my favorite Milky Way photos from ISS, with the multicolored lights of Southeast Asia streaking across the exposure from orbital velocity, while distant stars remain fixed by my star tracker. The long exposure intensifies the atmospheric airglow into a thick red band!

#PPOD: Orion Through New Eyes β¨οΈ
More than 140 years after the first photograph of the Orion Nebula, NASA's JWST reveals this familiar stellar nursery in extraordinary infrared detail. Captured on September 11, 2022, by the telescope's Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam), this view peers into the nebula's inner regions, where young stars emerge from vast clouds of gas and dust approximately 1,350 light-years from Earth.
Unlike visible-light observations, JWST's infrared vision can penetrate much of the dust that obscures newborn stars, revealing structures and stellar populations previously hidden from view. Powerful ultraviolet radiation from the massive stars of the Trapezium Cluster illuminates and sculpts the surrounding material, while dense clouds shelter the next generation of stars and potential planetary systems. From Henry Draper's pioneering photograph in 1880 to JWST's remarkable infrared observations, the Orion Nebula continues to transform our understanding of how stars and planets are born.
