“We weren’t initially studying HIV, but the newly discovered and unexpected biology of CD46 naturally led there. HIV depends on some of the same cellular machinery that CD46 controls.” — Majid Kazemian @PurdueBiochem@PurdueAG @PurdueCancerInst @NIH bit.ly/4hOUbUh

I was there. One of the best games I've ever seen. Loved seeing Scott Frost eat dirt in his own end zone.

LOL! Best Hitler-bunker-scene rendition so far! “You didn’t tell me these were the same Persians that defeated the Romans.” "Have Bari Weiss write why high oil prices are actually a good thing..."

In 1999, Baylor led UNLV 24–21 with 4 seconds left, had the ball at the UNLV 1-yard line, and UNLV had no timeouts. Baylor could simply kneel. Instead, coach Kevin Steele called a run to try to score again. Darrell Bush fumbled at the goal line and UNLV’s Kevin Thomas returned it 99 yards for a touchdown as time expired, and UNLV won 27–24

“Plants are great chemists. They can easily synthesize complicated compounds without expensive catalysts and expensive equipment. Just ambient temperature, sunlight, rain and soil. That’s all it takes.” — Xing-Qi Huang @PurdueBiochem @PurdueAg bit.ly/4h4Cu33

Deutsche Ritterlichkeit 1943. 👇💬

“Aquaculture produces wastewater and other fish-processing waste. These production processes generate organic waste that can be recycled. One of the most economically feasible recycling methods is anaerobic digestion to produce energy.” Jiqin Ni, @PurdueABE @PurdueAg
