Sometimes you just need a compliment😊
Today we took turns choosing a classmate to compliment! We used partner assisted scanning to choose which classmate we wanted to write about! We then used our switches to share what we said! What a great way to end our school day⭐️

Since it was so hot today, one of our students wanted to share a virtual message to celebrate our playground ribbon cutting! @NSSEO_org #WeAreNSSEO

My heart is with you and with his family ♥️ I’m going to miss his sleepy laughs and his music making on the xylophone so much. Words can’t express how much he will be missed. I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with him. He was such a special person. ♥️

Not all your students come to class wanting to learn… but they all come wanting to belong. And when they feel like they belong… they’re much more likely to learn.

That moment when you hold a new book in your hands for the first time and it becomes real (times 100)! Yeah. There were tears! I love this book so much and can’t wait until Election Day (Nov 5, 2019) for Sofia to meet the world! Thank you @abramskids!

Sure, our students make poor choices from time to time.
But guess what, so do the adults who are charged with their care.
The truth is we all benefit from a world with more grace; more opportunity to reflect, refine, and improve.

In celebration of raising over $2000 in @Scholastic book sales and having every student @MinerSchool participated in the Book fair, a few lucky students pranked Principal Brekke and Assistant Principal Pasquesi with pies and slime during an assembly this afternoon. #WeAreNSSEO
