Chris Cuomo gets a stunning reality check after asking a Black voter in Detroit who he’s voting for in the Senate race.
The expression on Cuomo’s face was PRICELESS as Anton Daniels revealed he was voting for Republican Mike Rogers.
To add insult to injury, Daniels then dropped a brutal truth bomb about the Democrat Party and the Black voters running away from it.
CUOMO: “Do you believe people may be wrong if they assume that all Black voters will vote for El-Sayed because he’s considered another brown guy?”
DANIELS: “I think that they are. And the reason that I think that it is because it’s a lot of Black people that are waking up and realizing that voting Democrat does not necessarily mean that it aligns with your values.”
Mike Rogers is getting the support of lifelong Democrats in Michigan
Slotkin got 86% of the black vote
This survey has Abdul getting 88% of the black vote
No one in Michigan believes Abdul is going to outperform Slotkin with black voters including the El-Sayed campaign
Just for the record:
Our final poll of 2024 had Slotkin up 3.7 percentage points, importantly with a significant 6.7% still undecided. detroitnews.com/story/news/p…
This poll has El-Sayed up 6.3 points, with only 3.6% undecided. detroitnews.com/story/news/p…
Exactly this
The ad he said he disagreed with is literally what he says every day on the campaign trail
For my latest, I quoted El-Sayed's exact statements that match the 'grocery' ad that everyone agrees is anti-Semitic. Just to be clear that you cannot find one acceptable and the other beyond the pale: commentary.org/seth-mandel/t…

Lifelong Democrat and former Clinton staffer @JamieMetzl was asked whether Michiganders should vote for @MikeRogersMI.
"Yes."
"I would never call on people to say… we should support an anti-American bigot like Abdul El-Sayed."

Mike Rogers brought a list with him for his speech. “These are Democrats who have said they either can't vote for Abdul or they're going to vote for us.” He said he had to read it because the media won’t talk about it.

BREAKING 🚨: CNN’s Dana Bash: “You’re a lifelong Democrat. If you were a Michigan voter, how would you vote in the Senate race?”
Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ): *Laughs* “There’s no way I’m ever coming out for El-Sayed, right now… This is a guy who has made it VERY CLEAR his views towards… Jewish Americans.”

Hey @MCmuckraker - this sounds like the American Dream to me:
In 1980, his father, John Rogers, was elected to the Brighton Township Board, and he later served multiple terms as township supervisor. He also was a trustee and sat on the township planning commission. Before that, he was a teacher, football coach, and school administrator, eventually becoming a principal at Redford Union High School.
You should stop “covering cannibis” so much. It’s messing with your head.
🧵 1/ Mike Rogers often tells voters he grew up working class: a shop-teacher dad, factory work and student loans.
But I dug into his family history and found a major part of that story he rarely mentions. metrotimes.com/news/milliona…

Wow!!!
David Kramer, who has served as a finance chair for Slotkin and Stevens’ campaign, is saying he’s going to vote for Mike Rogers.
He says his vote will be way more impactful if he votes instead of leaving it blank.
Democrats for Rogers’ coalition is growing!!

🚨 BREAKING: Prominent Michigan Democrat fundraiser David Kramer — who served as campaign finance chair for both Sen. Elissa Slotkin and Rep. Haley Stevens — announces he is JUMPING SHIP to vote MIKE ROGERS (R) for US Senate over Abdul El Sayed, per Jewish Insider
Abdul is TANKING! 🔥
Kramer says that even as a lifelong Democrat, backing Rogers is FAR more impactful than leaving his ballot blank to stop Mohamed from reaching the Senate
Another Democrat defection.
It really feels like Michigan Mike has the momentum!

Gill is THE Detroit organizer. Her commentary on the conditions in Detroit are doctrine. She is a big ally of Abdul, who unfortunately was ignored.
Abdul El Sayed endorsers are warning that he will lose to Mike Rogers because of his lack of black support:
"Two years ago, when Alyssa Slotkin narrowly won Michigan's other Senate seat, she got 86% of the black vote. Republican Mike Rogers took 12%. But recent statewide surveys tell a far more turbulent story. Rogers has tested anywhere from 11 to 22% among black voters, while LCDs numbers have hovered in the 70s."
Black voters are 'uncommitted' to Abdul El Sayed
🚨🚨🚨BREAKING:
Michigan polling by Royal Doulton Strategies shows Rogers surging to a 53-47 lead

Our sources say Abdul’s pollster has told him he has no path to victory.
