Think about that for a moment.
@froomkin says the old guard at the New York Times has reasserted control "over the rabble," and Joe Kahn's interview with @semaforben demonstrates it.

Incredible historical document here: Blinken says Israel’s PR is failing because social media allows people a direct look at what’s happening, shorn of the ability to mediate it, and it lands with emotional resonance. Romney then says yes, that’s why we moved to ban TikTok

The @nytimes explains why American students are more likely to protest the war than their peers abroad without mentioning the simple fact that we are paying for this war. Most American journalists have completely lost the plot.

Economists at Harvard estimate that the annual costs of maintaining automobile infrastructure at $14K/year for *every household* even those without a car. A car costs another $12K. The situation is almost certainly worse in TX. Automobile dependence is an economic albatross.

#Gaza: At noon, March 31 2024, an Israeli airstrike hit the yard of the Al Aqsa Hospital compound where many internally displaced people are sheltering, just outside of the emergency room. People were killed and injured.
After the attack, part of the MSF team had to stop providing care. “When our team heard a loud explosion nearby, they stopped what they were doing right away to seek cover inside the hospital, until confirmed that the attack was over,” said one of the MSF coordinators.
MSF provides medical and surgical wound care in Al Aqsa Hospital, the only facility in the Middle Area with the capacity to offer trauma care. We reiterate our call for an immediate and sustained ceasefire. Civilians, healthcare premises and medical staff must be protected. #CeasefireNow

Republicans engage in national sabotage quite openly because over years, starting in Obama’s presidency, they realized they could announce their schemes to the world and face no consequences. That’s why Dems have to take on the bad faith per se. politix.fm/p/will-the-republ…
