I don’t know how the Toronto mayoral will pan out today, but I’m hoping for a Bradford win for more reasons than one. It would be glorious to see a BC-type crashout by certain Chow supporters.

Watch Naomi Klein rant about "anti-Palestinian racism" and "Jewish fascists" as @guardian interviewer @chakrabortty just sits and nods along. "Because of anti-Palestinian racism, Jewish voices get more of a say."

Why do some people want to all-caps three-letter words? It’s Mac, not MAC; app, not APP; and (yes, saw this today) pop, not POP.

McGill’s law school receives roughly 1,500 applications for just 180 spots. It gave one of those spots to a convicted murderer in his mid-60s, who will never pass the good character requirements to practice, and who violated his parole multiple times. theglobeandmail.com/opinion/…

There’s so much to unpack here. The *entire* New Mexico economy (in 2025) is ~$125bn. The *entire* state budget is only ~$11bn. So, these penalties would be roughly a fifth of the state’s economy and more than *double* the fiscal budget for 2026. Ludicrous. It’s reminiscent of Europe’s targeting of American tech firms. Except this actually exceeds any judgment under the DSA or DMA. If we criticize Europe for being anti-tech (we do and we should), New Mexico deserves at least the same ire. “But Meta is a big company, they can afford it.” Sure, okay. If they’re forced to maybe they can afford this. But no company can afford being perpetually hammered by nonsense penalties. If NM can secure 25bn, what can CA, TX, FL collect with their significantly larger populations? And this is far from hypothetical. States have started eyeing tech for these sort of judgments in recent years. And I’d be shocked if others aren’t watching this thinking they can line their coffers with similar suits. If so, we can kiss our tech and innovation dominance goodbye. AI supremacy? Energy innovation and infrastructure build out? Good luck. But that’s *just* the financial and policy absurdity. If you dig deeper, this litigation is riddled with First Amendment problems—as @TraceTheLaw explained, the majority of this case and the penalties centered around Meta’s alleged misstatements around how it moderates content. The Supreme Court made clear that states cannot meddle with content moderation decisions. Those choices are protected by the First Amendment. See Moody v. @NetChoice. And the government cannot do indirectly what it cannot do directly. See @NRA v. Vullo. But that’s exactly what NM’s case does. They’re trying to get at content through the back door, pretending they can evade the First Amendment. It’s egregious. And I’m looking forward to Meta’s appeal.

Wanna talk about what his killer was wearing?
Twelve years ago today, Corporal Nathan Cirillo was killed while standing sentry at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Several others were injured. Two days earlier, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent was killed in a separate attack. The attacks of October 2014 left a lasting mark on our country, but they did not change who we are. pm.gc.ca/en/news/statements/…

Chow is shameless. Not surprising she has the support of all the moral reprobates clogging our streets to support terrorists.
You need to watch this highlight from last night’s final Toronto mayoral debate. Mayor Olivia Chow had one chance to ask Brad Bradford anything she wanted. Any issue facing the city. There are so many legitimate topics to debate. But she wastes the opportunity. She lies and fear-mongers about Bradford’s straightforward plan to modernize how Toronto handles a basic service. @BradMBradford met the question with the exact response the moment required (paraphrased below for brevity): “Mayor Chow, you know that’s not true, and I think that is below you, because I think you’re a good person. I think it’s below the office of mayor. It is not even possible to privatize water here in the province of Ontario.” Why is the mayor @oliviachow resorting to these fear tactics instead of presenting a positive vision for the city?

Paying attention to how Canadian news outlets report on Israel is important mainly in that it shows you how willing they are to lie to support a narrative. If this is what they'll do to provide cover for literal Palestinian terrorists what chance do you have?
This is the headline Canadians woke up to from @CBCNews. ⬇️ Not only did CBC attempt to draw sympathy by inaccurately portraying these Palestinians as innocent victims of Israeli aggression, but there was also no mention at all in the headline that this was a Hamas terror attack carried out by Hamouda and Firas Jua’ba, two Hamas-linked terrorists who injured 5 innocent Israelis in their terror attack. After HRC lodged a complaint immediately this morning, CBC updated its headline, which now reads "Israeli soldiers, Palestinian gunmen killed in exchanges" The revised headline still does Canadians a disservice. Describing a terror attack as an “exchange” obscures who initiated the violence: Palestinian terrorists attacked, and Israeli forces responded. Why is @CBCNews leaving that crucial context out of its headline? cbc.ca/news/world/israel-wes…

Sandy Pereira @Sandie23456 is the owner of Whitby based Eunoia Pure Inc., a line of shampoo & beauty products being sold in Canada based off her publicly available business documents & public ownership transfers. Sandy Pereira is a proud Neo-Nazi that denies the Holocaust, which she calls a “Jewish fairytale” and would like to vote for Hitler in Canada if he was still alive. Sandy Pereira describes one of her leisure pastimes as “when I need a good laugh I look up Holocaust survivor horror stories. They’re hilariously outrageous.” Sandy Pereira would like to “get the Jews out” and have forward thinkers in power to mass murder the Jews quickly so that “the west would be cleaned up of the filth faster than Hitler did it.” @DRPS Sandy Pereira reassures that when the Jews are gone “a renaissance follows” blaming the Jews on all of societies problems currently & historically. This is a Notice of Public Interest to the Jewish communities in & surrounding Whitby, Ontario regarding his radical Neo-Nazi that wants to see all Jewish people around the world eliminated. All materials provided were obtained via publicly available sources & does not contain any forms of private materials.
