I keep reading people trying to make sense of Trump’s behavior with normal human schemas. This will never work. He doesn’t possess what makes one human. Quit trying to apply human emotions, qualities, traits, desires, motivations, reasoning to him. They don’t apply.

Hook, line and sinker.
Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."
If one understands Trump’s psychopathology, one can get Trump to expose himself for all the world to see. This can then be exploited in ways that will drive Trump mad (yes, even more bat shit crazy). This is why I suggested letting psychiatrists/psychologists do the interviews.
As I said from the start, Republicans were never going to outrun Trump’s severe narcissistic and antisocial personality disorder pathology.
No one can act outside the bounds of his psychopathology. This Republican government has served only one person: Donald Trump.

Some tinpot dictator decides to throw a tantrum: Trump’s war on Iran drives up gas prices.
The accuracy of narcissistic projection to deflect from wrongdoing and failure reflects how desperate they feel.
They’ll say and do anything to undermine the election's credibility.
Musk is a monster for sure, but there are lots of potential monsters.
Two foreign monsters?
There are lots to choose from, foreign and domestic.
If they don't steal the election, it will be like 1/6, but worse. There will be more destruction, more violence, and more killing.

He's bragging about how much $ he is making to people he took money away from. He's doing this to the very people who put him in the position to rake in the $ he's raking in. And, he's doing it on the cusp of needing their support again. AND, he's doing it aloud and in their faces. Having a tough time understanding it?
I don't blame you. The truth is that people with Cluster B disorders don't always process things logically. They don't think, they feel. They crave. He has an enormous need to project grandiosity and to insist he has the ability to say and do as he pleases. The GOP has spoiled him there.
He also has an intense fear of abandonment - and by abandonment - I mean being rejected in polls or being rebuked in an election. He can't process it as real, so he says it's fake.
To counter his fears, he puts forth faux grandiosity.
Malignant narcissists who falter are prone to engaging in self-destructive behaviors, only partly aware that they're doing it - like him sticking it to the people he needs. He has no filters left, so he digs deep into fantasy, which is why he's seemingly so fixated on male ass. And he will continue saying the very things he shouldn't say, because he cannot pivot and he's a cognitive mess.
His sensitivity to perceived rejection makes the thought of it so incomprehensible, that he short circuits. He even sounds like he's short circuiting these days.
And that's what we're seeing now. And that's why they always get worse and always go down.
This is the discombobulated mind of a malignant narcissist in severe decline.
The grandiose, braggart malignant narcissist can't help but reveal the plan. As he feels increasingly threatened with being exposed as defective and a failure, his pathological defense mechanisms amp up into unmoored, omnipotent overdrive. “I’m so great; I can do anything.”
The inability of Americans to understand the Canadian outrage at Trump’s 51st state threats is an example of the empathy, ignorance, and insularity problem this society has. That US NHL fans seem to be the most ignorant makes it an even more vile violation for Canadians.

Why is Trump making so many concessions to Russia now?
I think it's three things.

Imagine the bottomless narcissism required to stand on a stage and clutch a framed, Microsoft Word-templated certificate declaring you "Man of the Century".
His mother did say bad things about him. They sent him to military boarding school because of his sociopathic behavior (Conduct Disorder) as a child.
YIKES 😳 Trump snaps at a reporter asking him about why he's dismissing sexual abuse allegations 👇
WOMAN REPORTER: Do the sexual abuse allegations mean nothing to you, sir?
TRUMP: Wait. Wait! Wait wait wait. Slow down. Who are you with?
REPORTER: NBC, sir. But they are very serious sexual abuse allegations
TRUMP: Quiet! Isn't she a fresh person? You're a horrible little reporter, aren't you?
Americans watch one gold medal game and think they know Connor Hellebuyck.
Some of us have watched over 800 of his games over 10 yrs. They made it to the second round ONCE.
When he had the best team in the league in front of him, he couldn’t stop a beach ball in the playoffs.
First off, adios Trumper. You destroyed your legacy as a Winnipeg Jet.
This is the contagion the entitled, belligerent, exploitative Tkafuck brothers caused the US team at the Olympics, smearing Canadian cities and 🇨🇦 NHL teams — disgusting behaviors long before Trump besot them
🚨 THE SAGA IS OVER. HELLEBUYCK IS GOING TO NEW JERSEY 🚨
Connor Hellebuyck has offically been traded to the New Jersey Devils. Details to follow, per @DarrenDreger.
