Pretty obvious he needs to leave town for a clean break from the problematic townie friends and family holding him back, not for a more fertile math job market.
I love that scene in Good Will Hunting where Ben Affleck is talking to Matt Damon's titular character Will Hunting and he's like “you've got a gift man and you've gotta get outta this town and make something of yourself” and the gift in question is being really good at math and the town he needs to get out of is Boston, Massachusetts.

Not very scary living in a classy unique design in Connecticut I’m afraid.
Rob Zombie’s former over 8k sq ft home in CT AKA the Origami House was just listed for $6,500,000.
Per the listing the home “draws inspiration from the art of folded geometry. Sculptural cube-like forms create dramatic ceiling heights, expansive walls of glass, and light-filled interiors that effortlessly blur the distinction between indoor and outdoor living. At the heart of the home is the spectacular Glass Great Room, inspired by I.M. Pei's iconic Louvre Pyramid.”
PS there is also a koi sanctuary.
Gonna have to think about Elizabeth Holmes every time I scramble an egg for the rest of my life ty @nathanfielder v cool

That’s good because months are what they have before my cringe neighbor gets in there and regulates Claude back to the Stone Age.

DELIVERED BY PONY EXPRESS! 🐎💌
After 3,217 kilometers from St. Joseph, Missouri, to Sacramento, California, Lachy arrived at the historic Pony Express Terminal at 11 p.m. local time, just 6 days, 21 hours and 15 minutes after setting off.
He finished 19 hours and 45 minutes ahead of the record pace set on horseback by the riders who delivered Abraham Lincoln’s inaugural address from Missouri to California on the route of the Pony Express back in 1861.
Lachy set out inspired by the courage of those original riders, who ventured into the unknown to connect communities across a vast and rugged country. More than 160 years later, he found that same spirit in the people he met along the way, from small towns in Nebraska and Wyoming to remote communities in the Nevada desert.
Their courage is still there. The United States is still being built.
Chapeau, Lachy!
