I created a simple tool to view the contents of x509 certificates as well as a chain of multiple certificates in one go. For now it only supports what I needed myself initially. If it’s something that could be useful for you it lives here: github.com/ogenstad/xcv

The recruiter wants to know if candidates know Perl. I wonder if this is a subtle sign of age discrimination. If you know that language you they just throw away your CV.

So helpful of Service Now to include a link to print the API documentation! I wonder how many people use that :)

I want to thank @networktocode for their generous donation to nornir. It's great to see an awesome business like them support opensource :)

RFC1918 not enough IP-space for your datacenter internal network design? Employees wasting to much time on Facebook during workhours? Kill two birds with one stone by using Facebook public IP-space for your internal network. Follow me for more great network design advice!

It's sad that you still get out of office replies saying: "I will have limited email access and longer delays with replies are expected." Unless you're on Mars or a long hike everyone still has access. Why isn't it acceptable to write "I'm on vacation, I'll reply when I'm back."

URGENT: If you use pydantic or @tiangolo's FastAPI and/or want to use them in the future, you need to read this: github.com/samuelcolvin/pyda…

It’s great when you pin your dependencies so that the tool you use to pin them down can break instead.

Hey @NotionHQ, it would be nice to be able to optionally set default values for the fields in a database. Is that something that's on the roadmap?

Got a question on LinkedIn asking if we had anyone within my company that had any experience with Cumulus. These are the default answers that LinkedIn suggested for me to use. Looks like someone needs to work on their marketing...

TIL that "DATA=$(cat app_config.json)" doesn't work that great when the file has CRLF line terminators. Oh, look at the time is it Friday already?

Writing some test cases for an app and have a list of dummy users that are characters from Game of Thrones. Is it too much of a spoiler if people who has been killed of are the ones marked as disabled?

Trying to help my son with an in-app purchase for @PlayHearthstone. @Apple took my money but @Blizzard_Ent says that they didn't get any and tells me to talk to Apple. Of course Apple says that I should talk to Blizzard. When I was a kid video games just worked, I miss those days

Exactly, why can't everyone just realize that SNMP isn't that bad and stick to what has been working for 30 years!
