I swear on my life I’ve been the victim of fucking attempted uber eats sc4ms like four times recently (I order groceries I don’t have a car lol) cause almost every time I order, the person drives in the opposite direction for like 30-60 minutes thinking that I’ll cancel and pay the little fine until they realize that I am never going to do that and so they cancel instead and I get a new driver.. Cause not kidding it’s not like they’re running multiple delivery apps, I’ve had that too and it’s whatever I don’t really care, it’s always in the same sort of area at least and I can always tell. Last week one girl accepted my order beside the walmart and drove 40 minutes in the opposite direction from where I live to Bramalea and kept driving in circles for a bit before ending up even further away all the way back in my old home town another 30 minutes north 😭 there’s no way that was multiple deliveries. As soon as I called her after speaking to customer service about her driving around for over an hour she cancelled the trip, she had been leaving me on read up until that point. Uber only gave me like $13 back on my near $100 order and it took 2 hours to get my stuff from the store that is a 5 minute drive from here. Anyway the reason why I’m writing this novel is because I am getting a grocery order rn and this lady was again right beside the store and then drove for 30 minutes the wrong way and now is just sitting there not moving? I placed the order at 5:45 and it’s now giving me an updated delivery time of 7:40 cause of how far away she is and she’s still “heading to the store” 😭 I texted saying hey you good 25 minutes ago and she said yeah i’ve started shopping, but she’s allegedly not even there yet and nothing on my list has been checked off either like what is happening recently good lord 😭 In like 20 more minutes I’m gonna text her again and just be like “I’m never cancelling btw.”
