Meet Adriana Melgoza, Founder of the Salinas Rabid Responders At an ACLU awards dinner in April, Adriana Melgoza was honored as the founder of the Solidarity Network, Monterey County's rapid response operation against ICE. She runs the Watsonville Law Center, which brought in $963K in 2023 and is on California's list of state-funded immigration legal services grantees. On Monday her network sent more than 20 volunteers to the Monterey County Jail in Salinas while ICE agents were outside. By the time the agents pulled out, rocks were flying at their vehicles. Listen to her brag about it. When a family member was detained by ICE, she says, they were "more afraid of me than the ICE agents," because "Adriana told me not to sign anything." They refused to sign their voluntary departure, and she says that's what saved them from deportation. This isn't a neighborhood watch. It's a publicly funded operation built to stop federal immigration enforcement. I hope @HSI_HQ and @FBI are keeping close tabs on this woman.

Monterey County Told ICE to Leave Its Own Jail Federal agents showed up at the Monterey County Jail in Salinas for a targeted operation. County officials told them to leave. When the agents refused, the sheriff locked the whole jail down instead of cooperating. According to KSBW, the agents were stationed behind the jail on Tuesday. An agent on camera called it a targeted operation involving people at the jail. A small crowd of Loudmouth Lupes showed up to yell at the agents to leave, and some of them were shouting profanities. The agents held their ground. The sheriff's response was to suspend new bookings, stop inmate releases and close public visitation. The sheriff says the office was not notified and cited SB 54, California's sanctuary law, which limits how much local law enforcement can work with ICE. In September, Monterey County supervisors adopted a policy that bars ICE from using county property as a staging area. It has exceptions for judicial warrants and criminal enforcement. So a county would rather shut down its own jail than let federal immigration agents do their jobs on its grounds. Who does that protect? Should counties that lock down jails to block ICE lose their federal funding?

Kobe Mosque have released a statement after a video gone viral of Yusuf Fujitani (Born Yusuke Fujitani) a Japanese convert to Islam calling Japanese New Year Festivals "An abomination". They could have ended it with the apology but they just had to make the last section about Islamophobia & xenophobia.

California Democrats, including Scott Wiener and Gavin Newsom, have passed legislation that raises serious concerns about parental rights and government involvement in decisions concerning our children. SB 107, California’s gender-affirming health care law. This legislation allows California courts to exercise temporary custody involving children seeking gender-affirming care, including children coming from other states. If a parent objects, the state can take custody and allow the child to medically transition. We are talking about potentially life-altering medical decisions involving minors, and laws that remove children from loving parents. Then there’s AB 1955, the SAFETY Act, signed by Gavin Newsom in 2024. This law prohibits school districts from requiring teachers and staff to notify parents when their child identifies as transgender or begins using a different name or pronouns at school without the child’s consent. Think about that. A parent can send their child to school that child can gain access to closets set up by teachers and dress with chest binders and clothes of the opposite sex. Teachers are creating files that are not put into the child’s actual folder ( which violates FERPA) with questions of how that child identifies and if they want to keep it a secret. No adult, no teacher should be keeping secrets from parents. Meanwhile, California allows children as young as 12 to consent to certain mental health services without parental permission when they meet specific legal requirements. School-based health centers can also provide primary care, reproductive care and mental healthcare without parents consent or notification. At what point did we decide that parents should be excluded from conversations about their own children’s mental health, identity, and medical care? We are talking about vulnerable children. Children who may be struggling emotionally, dealing with trauma, searching for acceptance, or simply trying to figure out who they are and they are preyed upon. Removing parents from these conversations creates serious concerns about transparency, accountability, and who ultimately has authority over decisions affecting children. And when the state becomes involved in custody disputes, parents deserve due process and clear protections against government overreach. If you believe California’s child welfare system, including CPS and DCFS, is beyond criticism, you haven’t been paying attention to the longstanding concerns about family separation, government accountability, and financial incentives within the foster care system. I have spent years fighting legislation in California, and one thing has remained consistent: Parents should not be treated as obstacles in their children’s lives simply because the government disagrees with them. There is a difference between protecting vulnerable children and creating policies that exclude parents from decisions that can have lifelong consequences.

We went 15 straight years without a single instance of graffiti on the sacred WTC 9/11 Memorial, and then the communist politicians AOC and Mamdani laughed their asses off at the memorial and the very next month commies are desecrating it for the first time. Probably nothing. I warned you they would destroy your history. They do not love your country. They do not share your values. Communists are not normal. They are not democrats. They're not liberals. They are spiteful malcontents who revile beauty and dignity and liberty and all the things that made America the greatest and most dominant civilization in the universe.

Meta has officially labeled me a dangerous organization. Just a mom who helps families figure out how to engage and homeschool. Politics is important but so is building out your community and support system. I’m so glad to be able to still connect with my friends online but it’s so important to meet in person. I’m going to have to dump my website since it’s been blocked
