🚨BREAKING: Republicans' odds to flipping the Michigan US Senate seat JUMP OVERNIGHT.
Michigan - 2026 US Senate
🟥Mike Rogers 44.3% (+3.7)
🟦Abdul El-Sayed 40.6%
Polling average via Pollsmax.com.
Abdul El-Sayed has become the Democratic frontrunner, and compared to his primary opponents—Mallory McMorrow and Haley Stevens—he performs by far the worst against Mike Rogers.
If El-Sayed ends up being the nominee, Republicans will be the heavy favorites to flip Michigan's US Senate seat later this year.
This is turning into such a rout that the Dems may, easily, have the votes to impeach and remove Trump from office.

To understand the level of narrative manipulation going on here, we’ve polled Michigan Democrats — if they say they care about the topic of Israel at all:
- 89% want to reduce support
- 5% want to maintain support
- 2% want to increase support
This is not a “divide”
This guy wants to be president so bad and never will be, love that for him
Governor DeSantis SLAMS Trump for taking us to war in Iran and gaslighting voters!
“He obviously ran saying he wasn't going to do a middle east war and they did.
So we had some of our voters who've checked out because they're like I didn't want any more middle east wars and now we're doing it And what's happened is it's kind of an open-ended conflict and it's having a direct impact on people's finances. Gas is higher. It hurts people, working class people and it's higher because of this conflict. That's just a fact. If you can't admit that to voters then you're gaslighting them and they're not going to listen to you on other things.”
Yeah, the Stevens thing is definitely negatively polarizing Dems to support Abdul. He's about to win in a landslide. When you've lost a top 5 Israel supporter, you know it's over.
Van Jones: Her decision to do this has consolidated the Democratic Party behind and around Abdul in a way that was inconceivable 48 hours ago. She chose to do this in front of a Black church—that was an error because a lot of Black people thought, what is this woman doing using our church as a prop for this stunt..
Hill dawg from the top ropes. Lord knows, she knows...
Hillary Clinton on Haley Stevens: I have no idea what her thinking was. If it has any impact, I think it will end up helping Abdul. Everybody who runs for office, who doesn't make it is going to feel disappointed, maybe hurt, even a little angry. But you got to put that behind you and get together in order to beat what is a huge danger to our future. And that's what should have happened here.

Morning Joe on Haley Stevens and Mike Rogers ties to Israel
Guest: Mike Rogers' staffers registered foreign agent for Israel... This is one of the questions around corruption.
It's not new that you would have someone with main character syndrome who reveals herself at the end to be in it for her. That is an ancient political dynamic.
...Whose country are we actually prioritizing and whether or not there is a 'there, there' around following the money into foreign interests.
Yeah, all the AIPAC spending, bigotry and unhinged Dem operative behavior have nothing to do with the margins.
Honestly, it may negatively polarize voters to support Abdul which would be awesome!

The contrast to Francesca Hong, who is running a statewide voter operation for David Crowley, couldn't be stronger.
El-Sayed: At the end of the day, I actually don't think about Haley Stevens. Because you know what? I'm just less interested in the politics of it all than I am in the policy of it all…
If you are somebody who believes that we should stand up to hate, and you have watched this last campaign, I think we probably would not want to support Mike Rogers and Donald Trump and JD Vance. If you're somebody who believes that we need more health care, not less than you probably don't want to vote for the guy who voted to raise prescription drug prices or keep them high 19 times and takes money from big pharma and big insurance. If you're somebody who believes in public education, you probably do not want to support the guy who architected the initial legislation in 1999 that ended up stripping local control from Detroit public schools and the local community. If you're somebody who believes that you should have a right to a union, you probably don't want to support the guy who busts unions. So I'm just saying that the principles that we believe in as Democrats are really quite clear. I stand for all of them.
