Am I the only one who thinks this scene means Steve created a divergent timeline instead of returning to the original one? That would mean the 'main' timeline's Peggy still lived her canon life without him.

Thanos snapped away half of all life, so why was he still standing: did he protect himself or did the Snap just spare him? 👀

My fiancé has been saving for our wedding for two years. I secretly used my share of our savings to freeze my eggs because I wanted children, just not with him yet. I know how that sounds. Derek is 32, has a good job, and has never given me a reason to doubt that he’d be a good husband. We’ve been together for four years, and everyone keeps telling me how lucky I am. But every time he talks about our future, I feel like I’m agreeing to a life I’ve never actually chosen. He wants two children before 35. I want children too, but I’m terrified of waking up at 40 and realizing I married someone because he was a good choice on paper. So I took $9,000 from the money we’d saved for our wedding and paid for the procedure. I planned to replace it before he noticed.

some people believed Captain America deserved to d!e in BATTLE, a proper “soldier’s send-off.” but this is how a soldier should finish his story; he comes home after the war, passes his legacy on and then settles down to live the rest of his life in PEACE with a family

Did everyone forget that Matt Reeves' universe already has its Lady Clayface? Eve Karlo (Carmen Ejogo) in The Penguin shares a surname with Basil Karlo, the original Clayface. Like him, she's a performer who plays whatever role keeps her safe. That's why fans read her as Reeves' take on the character, so Clayface can't also be in that universe. It's also why Matt Hagen is the lead in this film. And James Gunn has said outright that Clayface is part of the DCU, not Reeves' Batverse.

People when the film doesn't show every little thing and treat you like a toddler but instead trusts you to fill in the gaps with your own imagination.
Clayface plot hole that bugged me: how did those gangsters get into Matt Hagen’s fancy multimillion-dollar apartment so easily? Powerful mob boss or not, did this famous actor have no security at all? #Clayface #MattHagen #DCU

Let's talk about the ending of Clayface. There are two ways to read it: the obvious one, that he ate Caitlyn, or (the more likely one, IMO) that he can split himself into two independent doppelgängers, each able to think and act on its own.

Being the smartest person in the room should not mean knowing everything before everyone else. Superhero movies often treat intelligence as a superpower that eliminates uncertainty. Tony Stark builds a solution under impossible pressure. Bruce Wayne anticipates every move. Reed Richards calculates outcomes that nobody else can comprehend. But real intelligence also means recognizing the limits of your knowledge. Some of the MCU’s worst disasters happened because brilliant people believed they could control systems they did not fully understand. Ultron is an obvious example, but the same pattern appears whenever scientific ambition outruns judgment. I want more superhero stories where the smartest character makes a reasonable decision with incomplete information and still gets it wrong. Not because they suddenly become stupid, but because intelligence cannot protect anyone from every unknown. That is a far more interesting limitation than simply inventing a bigger enemy.

When Jane Foster lifted Mjölnir, she was transformed into the Mighty Thor, complete with a full suit of armor. But when Captain America proved himself worthy in Avengers: Endgame, he didn't get any new armor. Why the difference?

The Avengers: Doomsday trailer shows both a cracked Mjolnir and a clean, intact one in the same footage because the hammer is temporarily existing in two mutually incompatible states at once, and the trailer is the only place that glitch is visible. Mjolnir was shattered by Hela in Ragnarok, then effectively restored (or replaced via the time-heist version) by the end of Love and Thunder and Endgame. In ordinary physics that is a finished event. In the MCU’s version of the multiverse, objects that have been both destroyed and preserved across branching timelines can be forced into a brief superposition when Doctor Doom starts collapsing or overlapping those branches. The cracked hammer is the version that stayed broken after Ragnarok in one timeline; the clean one is the version that was reforged or retrieved from the past in the main timeline. Because Doom is actively interfering with the structure of those timelines, both versions are being pulled into the same physical moment. The hammer does not choose which state to settle into until the conflict is resolved, so both appear in the trailer depending on which shot the camera catches. That is why Steve Rogers can still summon it. Worthiness is not tied to a single physical object but to the concept of the hammer across its possible states. As long as any version of Mjolnir still recognises him as worthy, the enchantment routes the nearest available instance to his hand, cracked or not. The dual appearance is not a continuity error or a different hammer; it is the visual symptom of Doom’s reality-warping having already begun, and the trailer simply failed to hide the intermediate stage where both histories are still coexisting.
Did anyone else notice that the Avengers: Doomsday trailer showed us both the broken and unbroken versions of Mjolnir?

Vision keeping Ultron alive inside his own mind makes perfect sense when you remember that his answer to fear has always been love and compassion. Vision was created to stop Ultron, but he never had to become like him to do it. Ultron saw humanity as a problem that needed to be eliminated, while Vision saw its flaws and still believed people were worth saving. So instead of simply destroying Ultron, keeping him trapped inside his mind could be Vision’s way of showing compassion even to someone who had done terrible things. Vision didn't have to forgive Ultron to refuse to become his executioner. And that might be the clearest difference between them: Ultron believed fear justified destruction, but Vision believed even fear could be answered with something better.
