i think what people haven’t focused on here is that this is a chapter of just under 1000 members and they’re getting weekend meeting turnout of just over 6%. that’s pretty concerning turnout and i’d be willing to bet insular votes like this are a big reason why

it’s rly fun to see the airbnb host crash outs tbh. my first time using one was in LA, and while I was checking in the host asked me and my friends if we’d like to help clean with the guests who were checking out. I laughed and said no, bec I thought that was an obvious joke.
its just bonkers the new policy @airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?

love when I try to take the already godawful flyaway bus from LAX home, and the bus just randomly fucking turns off so there’s like 40 people stuck here with no AC after we all paid like $9 for the damn bus. and you either take this bus, spend 3 hours getting home, or pay $60
