Moving from SKIE to Swift export in a Kotlin Multiplatform project johnoreilly.dev/posts/people… Swift export is still in alpha and continues to evolve so some aspects of this might change....but cool to see progress and looks like Kotlin 2.5.0 will be big release for the technology!

In 1933, the U.S. government forced Americans to surrender their gold. When Bitcoin becomes important enough, the easiest coins for the government to grab will be the enormous pools held by regulated custodians. That’s what Bitcoiners mean when we warn about a "6102 Attack," and it’s a major reason why self-custody matters. In today’s OUTSIDE MONEY.

Most people don’t need to be talked into bitcoin. They just need someone to talk them through it. I’ve joined @Swan and will be working with Swan Private clients as their dedicated advisor. I’ve seen a lot of bitcoin journeys up close: from organizing @DenverBitDevs and co-founding @SpaceDenver, to hosting @ValueStackPod, writing The Bitcoin Tao, and advising on bitcoin security at @CasaHODL for 5+ years. I’m now bringing that expertise into the Swan Private team. Swan has a full suite of solutions for every bitcoiner through every stage of the rabbit hole, whether it's buying, holding, retirement and business, or passing it on. If you want to move further along your bitcoin journey, let’s chat: calendly.com/swanzach

SACRIFICE! PERMADEATH! HUGGING FACE! An agent swarm gone rogue is at the heart of the battle over frontier AI. Now Amodei of @anthropic warns agent swarms could cause hundreds of billions of damage in 6-12 months. But is his argument self-serving?

Japan has spent roughly 170 billion dollars this year defending the yen. The United States even bought yen for the first time since 1998. But none of that changes the fundamental problem.

🚨 SWAN CEO @CorySwan ON THE LONG GAME FOR BITCOIN: "The best way to think about it is that this is a new monetary technology. It's the best money we've ever had on the planet." On the timeline: "All we're looking at over the long haul is six to eight decades of eight billion people in all of our governments and institutions and pension funds waking up to the fact that we have a better form of money and a better form of storing value than we've ever had before." On what happens to price with fixed supply: "With a fixed supply, there can never be more than 21 million coins. Inevitably, when the demand curve goes up against a fixed supply that can only clear with a higher price, in nominal dollars, over time."

As @CorySwan explains, spot Bitcoin ETFs aren't real Bitcoin. It's price exposure you can't withdraw or self-custody, plus a fee every year you hold it. RBX converts those shares into real Bitcoin you own and control without selling. We're here to help: swanbitcoin.com/rbx?utm_sour…

GBTC holders have a way out. @CorySwan says Swan's RBX converts @Grayscale shares into real Bitcoin in a tax-advantaged way, no need to trigger cap gains just to escape the 1.5% annual fee. 🔐

We Are Gonna Kick This Can Down the Road for DECADES!! This might get me banished from certain circles, but hear me out 😬 What if the debt doomers are right about the problem, but thirty years early?

Bitcoin crossed $80,000. So is it cheap, expensive, or fairly valued? Nobody actually knows. And the reason why gets to the heart of what makes Bitcoin different from almost every asset Wall Street tries to value.

The junior varsity debate tricks are so tiresome. No one should be falling for word salad from a blockchain VC at this point. You know better.

The more money degrades the more manipulation it needs to function as a system. Or the other way around. Nothing stops this train.
PRIVATE CREDIT didn’t eliminate credit risk after 2008. It changed who sees the problem first. Lenders know if borrowers are in trouble long before defaults or write-downs show up in the numbers everyone else can see. Down the rabbit hole we go…

Never gave much thought to what the definition of Bitcoin maximalism is. But here's how you ended up becoming one, do the PoW: 1. why Money needs fixing and 2. what's the best option 3. You become a bitcoiner and get labeled maximalist by those who didn't do enough PoW

My grandfather always thought if you're good at your job you'll be all right. 2 generations and now all I'm hearing "you need to invest bro". Meanwhile you can't find a proper plumber, because everyone is busy checking the stock market. Fix savings and fix the world.
THE "FED PUT" ISN’T A CONSPIRACY. IT’S MATH. The Fed doesn’t really have a put under the stock market. It has one under the debt system. And once you understand why, you understand a lot more about where the dollar is headed, and why many choose to store value in hard assets.
