From @TheAthletic: LeBron James will make nearly four times as much promoting the Polymarket prediction market as he will from playing basketball. The deal may not break NBA rules, but it raises uncomfortable questions. nyti.ms/4hwgqOD

At least he’s the goat at one thing.
Nobody sells out more and at a higher price than LeBron.
I wonder if @Polymarket could create a market for reading proficiency at his school being over 2%?
I've had it up to here with the greedy price gouging owners of @NBA many of the players and some of the fans. You've taken the sport out of the game and made it impossible for regular folks to attend the games #BoycottProSportsMerch
The questions have always been there. Its just now we have proof. Right @NFL ?
The numbers put it in perspective. Polymarket is paying LeBron $15 million a year, and that's now bigger than his playing salary. He's the first individual NBA player Polymarket has ever signed, announced September 5. This is part of a wider wave in 2026. Sydney Sweeney is with Novig, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bryson DeChambeau and Luka Modrić all signed prediction market deals. The AGA wrote its Responsible Marketing Code for sports wagering back in 2019, but that covers sportsbooks, and prediction markets sit outside it. That's the gap LeBron's deal just walked through.
