Typos 18 through 20 of the day: Lewes’ is a bad style guide violation for Lewes’s. Ungrammatically omitted a before mix. Under Times style, realtor, a trademarked term, is capitalized. @rachelwharton
Typos 33 and 34 of the day are pretty bad and are by @peterbakernyt:

The Times modifies spelling and punctuation in quotes to follow its style, and The Times uses periods in acronyms if the letters are pronounced separately. B.O.P. is pronounced B-O-P, not bop, so you have to add periods in these quotes. @amarimow, cc @RozHelderman

If The Athletic were a real news company and not the standardless content farm it is, it would not let a writer who wrote an opinion piece earlier today calling on the WNBA to ban Kanter from today’s game write the news article on Kanter’s being kicked out of today’s game.

Two subliterate errors: a fully parenthetical sentence’s period goes inside the parentheses, not outside, and were is a subject-verb-agreement error for was because nouns in parentheticals aren’t subjects. Bonus missing space after an em dash. @avarwallace, cc @jameskhansen

Upon filling out the story you made some typos, @ceciliakang, @elitanjourno: you spelled the judge’s name two different ways, and hour and half long has to be hyphenated. Otherwise it means it was a long deposition that was an hour and half.

25 typos and style guide violations that I had time to get to yesterday. Typo 1 of the day, by @rpogrebin: ungrammatically omitted comma after an appositive modifier, causing the sentence to literally mean you are talking to Houdini about an unnamed Hungarian escape artist.
Right now this sentence nonsensically means/says that people with the variant benefited as much than people without the variant, and in some cases more.
Typos 16 and 17 of the day: five times more likely than noncarriers means six times as likely as noncarriers. See your style guide. Meanwhile, threefold lower is nonsensical and literally means negative two times as high. Change to two-thirds lower or one-third as high. @SmithDanaG, cc @maxwellstrachan @erikvance

This sentence breaks down into a nonsensical run-on at “was.” To fix, add a comma, followed by which, after watch. @thejudsonjones, cc @mccanner
