Researchers spent 500 hours and $70,000 and found LG TVs logging plain text transcripts in standby, mapping every device in the house, and feeding it to LG's ad arm Unplug the internet and it saves the files until you plug back in. LG says its TVs don't record ambient conversations. The evidence begs to differ. 216 million of these are sitting in living rooms. Where are the regulators? Writer: Daniel

SHA owes KNH KSh 5.4 BILLION. KNH owes suppliers KSh 2.3 BILLION. Suppliers stop supplying. Patients go without food. That is not a rumour. That is not propaganda. That is hunger in hospital wards. And listen carefully: in those wards, hunger did not ask for TRIBE. Not Luhya. Not Luo. Not Kikuyu. Not Kisii. Not Kalenjin. Not Maasai. Not Somali. Not WANTAM. Not TUTAM. Everyone went hungry. Everyone suffered. Because pain does not recognise politics. All this money was collected in the name of healthcare, then stolen, looted, misappropriated and diverted for politics, PR, and power preservation. Not service. Politics. That is why the biggest referral hospital in the country KENYATTA NATIONAL HOSPITAL cannot feed patients. Now ask those Luos and Kalenjins who take money to praise Ruto: When hunger hits a ward, does it choose the side you praise? When there is no medicine, does your tribe open the pharmacy? When a doctor says “hakuna,” does your paid loyalty change that answer? Do your mothers get special meals because you tweet for the regime? Do your fathers get painkillers because you defend looters on TV? Do your relatives get treatment while others starve because you clap at rallies? You sell your voice cheaply, then queue like everyone else when your own people fall sick. You praise power, but power does not recognise you. You defend thieves, but thieves will never defend your family. Now watch the theatre. Duale will first brief security because image matters more than patients. He will arrive with cameras. He will use the VIP lift. He will tour the private wing. Patients in real wards will be kept off-camera like shameful evidence. Then he will tell us everything is fine. That it was a “minor misunderstanding.” That the issue is “resolved.” And he will dismiss Kenyans as wale watu wa porojo. But the wards will still be full of hungry patients. The suppliers will still be unpaid. The bills will still be there. And patients will still be hungry. Grace Nga’nga says “I don’t eat pork.” At this rate, I would rather eat pork than swallow these lies. Because pork is honest about what it is. This government is not. You do not starve patients by accident. You do not rack up billions in unpaid bills by mistake. You do not collapse KNH and call it reform. This is deliberate cruelty. This is healthcare sacrificed for politics. This is stolen money being laundered through PR while patients suffer quietly. Hospitals are not campaign venues. Patients are not props. Hunger is not porojo. KNH is bleeding. Kenyans are paying. And somewhere, politicians are counting stolen billions and asking for more praise.

Dr. Erustus Kanga, you removed two Somali giraffes from Wajir claiming insecurity and drought. If that is true, come and take the remaining 6000 in Wajir and the 14,000 across the entire North Eastern region. If it is not true, return the TWO you took and protect all our #wildlife in Northern Kenya. Our communities saved them and fed them after poachers killed their mothers. This is not conservation, it is abandonment. You cannot abandon the Somali giraffes. #SaveSomaliGiraffes

Thousands of people were killed in Tanzania by Madam Dictator in her desperate bid to retain power through a farcical election in which she absurdly awarded herself 97% of the vote. When the media reports that thousands have been killed, it is often difficult for readers or viewers to truly grasp the scale of human suffering behind those numbers and the emotional devastation, the loss, and the fear that this shameless, murderous woman inflicted on Tanzanians. This is the story of Christina, known as Tina to her family and friends. Tina was a 22-year-old lorry driver who was brutally killed on the 29th of October by Madam Dictator’s thugs. Please take a moment to listen to her story, and then imagine that thousands of families across Tanzania endured the same nightmare, the same grief, the same unbearable pain, all caused by a blood-soaked dictator who slaughtered her own citizens simply to cling to power when the people had long rejected her.

This happened in Mji Mwema, Mwanza. These boys where at a local cafe( kibanda Umiza) watching TV, when Samia Suluhu’s goons came, ordered them to come out and lay down. They all complied. Soon as they complied they were all shot. They were not protesting. This was about the protests it was about getting total surrender and obedience from the people of Tanzania’s

UPDATE I just spoke to Ian Gichagua Maingi’s sister. He's still missing. The pain in her voice will break your heart. 💔 It’s now a month since Ian went missing — a 15-year-old Form 2 student at Njumbi High School. The boy still hasn’t been found. The school isn’t helping. They promised to review and release the CCTV footage, but nothing has been forthcoming. The only thing they’ve done is report the case — and move on as if a child didn’t vanish under their care. Ian’s parents are broken. His father still wakes up hoping the phone will ring — that maybe, someone, somewhere, has seen her son. But silence. Only silence. Where is Ian? And why is nobody being held accountable? 🙏 Let’s keep praying for Ian and his family. If you’ve seen him or know anything, please reach out: 📞 David Maingi (father) — 0705 808 358 📞 Beth (sister) — 0724 258 870
This is one post that will break every parent’s heart. 💔 Imagine losing your child… and not even knowing when or how it happened. 15-year-old Ian Gichagua Maingi, a Form 2 student at Njumbi High School, is missing. A bright, disciplined, and cheerful boy — full of dreams and potential. Nothing seemed unusual until 17th October, when Ian’s mother, Jennifer Muthoni, received a text from the school saying students would be released for the long December holidays. She was happy her son had completed the term well. The school even praised his performance in another message. But when the students were released the next morning, Ian never came home. Earlier in September, Mama Ian had visited the school after hearing that students with school fees balances would be sent home. She pleaded with the administration to allow her son to stay as she tried to clear the balance. The school agreed — and that’s the last comfort she had. When she didn’t see Ian among those sent home for fees, she thought he was safe and studying. But on 18th October, as other parents welcomed their children home, Mama Ian waited for the notification that never came. When she called the school, a teacher said the students had already left hours earlier. Later, Ian’s class teacher claimed he had gone home weeks ago due to school fees. But the principal denied ever sending him home. That’s when reality hit — her son had been missing for nearly three weeks, and the school never noticed. A classmate said Ian had mentioned feeling unwell and wanting to go home after church on Sunday, 28th September. But his mother never received any leave-out message — and the school has no idea how he left. The matter is now reported at Nyakianga Police Station, under OB Number 13/19/10/2025 at 1511 hours. Now a family is living through every parent’s worst nightmare — wondering where their child is, whether he’s safe, or if he’s even alive. Please, if you’ve seen Ian Gichagua Maingi or have any information about his whereabouts, contact: 📞 Ian’s Dad (David Maingi): 0705 808 358 📞 Ian’s Sister (Beth): 0724 258 870 or report to Nyakianga Police Station or any nearby police post. 🙏 Let’s pray for Ian’s safety. Let’s help bring him home. Share widely — your share could be the one that saves him. #FindIan #MissingChild #Kenya #PrayForIan
