We’ve surpassed 1500 signatures! Let’s keep up the momentum in informing UD’s Athletic Department that UD is not just a sports arena with large attendance numbers. More things are more important such as our basketball program, students, alumni and especially our Pep Band! Please sign and share!

The lack of normal vitriol in my replies tells me that generally Dayton fans are in favor of keeping the Pep Band as the foundational entertainment on gamedays in UD Arena...

UD Arena is trying to slowly replace the Pep Band with a DJ because they think thats what fans want: The citizens of UD should be heard: change.org/p/keep-the-flyer-…

I for one would rather see UD students play the music they worked hard to practice. The involvement from the band and student section is a huge part of UD BBall. They don't call em the Best Damn Pep Band In the Land for nothing, say no to this random DJ Sign below ⬇️ #GoFlyers – at Mount Pleasant, MI

This is something as Flyer fans we never asked for, no disrespect to the DJ. But the Flyer Pep band is a huge draw when it comes to UD Arena. I don't want to see the band be diminished in this process. Sign the petition and let's fix this before it goes any further. ✈️✈️✈️ c.org/WjmZm6bj5W

A Change petition was started to restore the Gameday role for the Flyer Pep Band after a DJ was the primary music provided for the season opener: change.org/p/keep-the-flyer-…
