I attended the 15th Uganda Vice Chancellors’ Forum Annual Conference at Lake Victoria Granada Hotel, Entebbe, held under the theme “The Future of the University: Rethink, Reform or Risk Irrelevance.”
The keynote address by Prof. Stijn Coenen, President of @ThomasMoreKY , on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into universities was particularly insightful, highlighting the need for higher education institutions to embrace innovation and adapt to a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

I have joined members of the MUBS Contracts Committee for a two-day refresher training at Nile Anchor Palace, Jinja City. The training, facilitated by experts, focuses on disposal management, the new PPDA amendments, key approval considerations, and the roles and responsibilities of Contracts Committees.

119 participants graduated from the digital skills training program. The training started in May 2024 with a total of 274 participants organized in two cohorts. The trainees were vulnerable youths and adolescents from Kampala slums. The program was organized by @MUBSICTCentre in collaboration with @UNICEFUganda. We congratulate all those who managed to complete the program.

I had an amazing time working with the science teachers from Koboko. We empowered them with the knowledge of integrating ICT into teaching and learning, and I believe they will make a huge impact with their new skills. @Educ_SportsUg and @USEEPUg contracted @OfficialMubs to implement the project in different cluster centers across the country.
