Last weekend, we hosted our first @farcaster_xyz meetup in Lagos 🇳🇬. We had a great time speaking about decentralized social and what an onchain future is. Our goal at Onbase is to onboard builders to @farcaster_xyz and @base ecosystem

On Saturday, 2nd August, we hosted the first Farcaster meetup in Africa.
Hosted by @0xAghahowa and @0xdamola, and notable speakers like @Sir_Damilare, @0xmelanin and @oxdeve
Many builders were introduced to the next wave of onchain social!

I attended the @onbasehq irl event yesterday, and boy, it was a great one!
We had a walk through on how mini apps on @farcaster_xyz can be built, using @lindaxie ‘s guide.
Also learnt about an exciting mini app project on farcaster by @0xmelanin
Got to Connect w a lot of web3 chads also,
Connected w: @HappyfulofWeb3 @SlippageEra and a many more!
@Sir_Damilare also joined virtually to explain what @base is all about and gave a brief overview of the new base app (would be happy to get a code)
It was such an interesting experience for me, we played some fun games also.
You’d never go wrong attending a web3 IRL event, it’s always an avenue to connect and learn more!

It was nice to connect with folks at the #ONBASE event at Unilag (Cafe one).
Got onboarded into farcaster, hats off to @0xAghahowa, we also played some fun games.
Learnt about an exciting project from @0xmelanin, and connected with other great minds.
@Sir_Damilare also attended virtually, and expantiated more about Base and Base App.
Generally all the experiences were fun, and I’m now interested in attending more events
So well to recommend other exciting events coming up around Lagos to me please, I’d pull up!
