I know I’ll catch some 💩for this but, if you’re a high school athlete you should not be doing bodypart workouts. I’m amazed when I talk to kids who say they “did back” today. Not sure how we shift that message? I know it won’t be by coaches arguing about it here. 😉 – at Wakefield, MA

The longer I do this and the more data I see, the less maximum strength correlates to athletic performance or injury risk at all levels. Industry is way too focused on maximum strength!
