Thanks @SusanJonesArts! Some simply expressed basic reminders for institutions and the salaried who engage with #ArtistFreelancers… in constant need of repeating. 🥁
Some useful points for those commissioning #ArtsFreelancers:
- Respect their knowledge with your arrangements
- Recognise freelancers are best placed to know their economic worth, livelihood needs and on costs
- Don't make payment systems that treat them like criminals 1/3
Possibly the first art centre in the country for babies and toddlers. So important to contributing to the creative future of a place. Thank you @magic_acorns 🙏

mailchi.mp/a91ceadfe688/comi… Coming Up at originalprojects; - PrimeYarc and beyond - this June. Plus a handpicked selection of our recommendations and opportunities from our regional visual arts pals.
This looks fantastic. Recommended for anyone who enjoyed or missed our ‘razing the agenda’ workshop last week. Keeping the conversation about artist lived experience in the current economy front and centre, AND articulated by brilliant contributors!!

🙏 @SusanJonesArts a powerfully succinct opener to a wonderfully provocative, energising (exhausting!) day focussed on the #artistled experience, matters of sustainability & potentials of responsive cross-pollination. Thanks team @EastStreetArts & all contributors. 🐝 👏 🙌
#Neoliberalism may have given legitimacy to #arts (+created a bunch of #arts shiny buildings with all the staff etc) but have #artists been well-served by it as far as #SustainableLivelihoods are concerned? #ESAHIVE
Check out this professional development // residency opportunity with our pals @magic_acorns ! exciting times. 🌱🪺🐦 🌳

Loving recent times in Great Yarmouth❤️. Gorgeous sea/skies/marram grass and got to meet the brilliant Kaavous & Jules at originalprojects. Happy to be well enough(ish) to physically get there and to undertake some sound recordings and filming for my new project 1/3
