I spent last night on @ourcommonpower’s post-election call with Scott Colom, his team, and Senator Cantwell. The Mississippi Senate race could be decided by a handful of ballots. Common Power is headed there to help cure them. Watch to learn how to help: commonpower.substack.com/cp/…

In 2024, democrats lots the district to what many experts would describe as a lack of investment from Democrats. This year, from statewide to local races, The Rio Grande has flipped thanks to the work of local organizations and our partners at Texas Together

Jasmine Clark - excuse us, DR Jasmine Clark has joined the House of Representatives as the first Black woman with a PhD to be elected! Dr. Clark has shown a commitment to public health and the well-being of working families and now she’s bringing that same focus to the US House!

They gutted the Voting Rights Act, then tried to gerrymander states like Alabama, but against all odds and institutional barriers, Shomari Figures has won the AL-02 House Seat!

Trump overreached. The people struck back. Democracy prevailed. We’re back from the brink. Welcome to the beginning of the end of the Trump era, and the opportunity to build something better. The work continues, but right now, we deserve to bask in this historic W.

We are all Americans no matter what we look like or who we pray to. @AbdulElSayed  win is more than just a win for the Dems in the Senate, but a celebration to immigrant families, people of color, and everyday people who are fighting for their lives against Trump’s regime.

We’ve been door-knocking for @Villegas_CA22  all year because of his promise to reject corporate money, his close ties with working-class people, and his determination to represent the Central Valley and working class policies in DC. No one can represent CA-22 better than Randy!

Even though he entered the Maine race later than his opponent, Troy Jackson demolished Collins because he understands working-class struggles and the importance of our labor unions. Maine just pulled off the impossible and we’re excited to have been a part of this historic win!

Texas has another first, with @GinaHinojosaTX  as the first Latina Governor ever and the first Democratic governor in the past three decades. This one means a lot to us, to Texas, and it’s an important benchmark for the country!

I think we can all agree, Ohio dodged a missile by electing @amyactonoh  for Govenor! Through the strife, and the ugly campaign ran by her opponent, Amy Acton made it out on top by prioritizing the needs of Ohians and not billionaire and corporate interests! ⚒️

Mr. Charles Mauldin was sixth in line marching behind John Lewis in Selma on Bloody Sunday. Six decades later, he went on a six state tour knocking doors for Democrats and mobilizing voters. It all culminated in Michigan campaigning with Abdul El-Sayed. Inspiring.
After weeks of traveling with CoPo to GOTV, Civil Rights Foot Soldier Charles Mauldin had no clue where he would be for election week.  Fast forward to today, when he has been invited to speak at rallies and meet with @AbdulElSayed  in Detroit ahead of the Midterms.
